The board, where the work is already happening
A developer mid-task in Cursor, a manager drafting next week's plan in Claude, a founder asking ChatGPT to summarise a decision: none of them want to open another tab to check a ticket. ShipSprint speaks MCP, the open standard assistants use to call real tools, so once it's connected the assistant stops guessing from whatever you pasted in and works on the actual board.
That means real actions, not a chat summary of a screenshot. Ask what's on your plate today and it checks. Tell it to log two hours on PAY-12 and say design is blocking you, and both land in the workspace, attributed to you, the same as if you'd typed them into the app.
It's one connection with five ways in, depending on where your team works. Each takes a minute to set up.
Five assistants, one connection
The same sixteen tools in every one of them. Only the setup step differs.
One click from your ShipSprint profile, through claude.ai's Connectors settings. No config file and nothing to run on your machine. Claude setup →
Added from Settings → Connectors in ChatGPT, then authorised with your ShipSprint account. ChatGPT setup →
One command in the terminal adds ShipSprint to Claude Code, so tickets and time logs are reachable from inside a coding session. Claude Code setup →
A one-click install from your ShipSprint profile gives Cursor's agent the board, without a hand-written config. Cursor setup →
A few lines in Antigravity's MCP config, using the connection details from your profile. Antigravity setup →
What teams use it for
- A developer in Cursor reads the acceptance criteria on the ticket they're working on without leaving the editor.
- Claude Code files a follow-up issue for the edge case it found while fixing a bug, so it's on the board before the session ends.
- An engineering manager asks Claude what's still open on the release and gets the list from the board, not from memory.
- Someone logs two hours against a ticket from a chat, and the hours roll up into the project like any other entry.
- A founder asks ChatGPT to find last month's pricing decision, and it searches the team wiki instead of guessing.
- A product manager drafts a wiki page from a conversation and saves it straight into the right space.
Real actions, not a chat toy
Issues, comments, time, search, projects and the wiki, read and written through the same rules as the app.

It can't do more than you can
An assistant connected to ShipSprint acts with your exact permissions. It sees the projects and spaces you can see and nothing else, so connecting it never widens anyone's access. Every action it takes, a comment, an issue, an hour logged, lands in the audit log attributed to you, exactly like an action taken in the app.
If you'd rather script it, the same actions are a plain REST API with personal access tokens. The security overview covers the rest: isolated workspaces, two-factor authentication and full data export.
Where it isn't the whole story
Other trackers, Jira and Linear among them, have shipped MCP connectors too, so the connection on its own isn't a reason to switch. What's different here is the combination: it works in five assistants, it's included on the Team plan at ₹299 a seat, and the same board serves engineering, HR, marketing and operations.
It also isn't magic. The assistant is calling real tools, so a precise request ("log 1.5 hours on PAY-12") gets a precise result and a vague one doesn't. For dragging cards around, reading the owner command center or reshaping a sprint, the web app is still the better view.

No. It acts with your account's permissions, so anything outside your access in the app is outside its access too.
Yes. Every action lands in the workspace audit log, attributed to the account that connected it, like any other change.
No, they do different jobs. GitHub sync moves and closes cards from branch and merge activity on its own. The assistant connection is for reading tickets and acting on them while the work is in progress.
Yes. The same actions are available as a REST API with personal access tokens.
