Three people, five jobs

Early on, nobody has one role. The technical co-founder ships features and answers support. The other founder handles investors, hiring and the launch plan. The first employee does whatever is on fire. Buying a separate tool for each of those jobs means paying for, and logging into, four products before the company has revenue.

ShipSprint covers them on one login. Templates for engineering, HR, marketing and operations sit on the same subscription, each in its own vocabulary, so the hiring pipeline and the sprint board live side by side without anyone learning a second product.

What you pay at each stage

Founding team. The Free plan gives up to 5 users and 2 projects on the core boards, permanently. It’s a plan, not a countdown, but it covers the core boards only: it doesn’t include time tracking, GitHub integration, forecasts or AI assistant access.

First hires. Team is ₹299 per user per month, or ₹2,899 per user per year, for up to 40 people. That adds GitHub integration, time tracking and timesheets, the manager dashboard, capacity planning with out-of-office, email digests and access from AI assistants over MCP.

Reporting to a board. Business is ₹599 per user per month, or ₹6,499 per user per year. It adds delivery forecasts, scorecards, the owner command center with a Monday digest, the workspace audit log, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, priority support and unlimited projects.

The 14-day trial runs the full Business plan. If you don’t upgrade, the workspace drops to Free and nothing is deleted.

Built for a small team

The parts founders use first

“My day”

Everyone opens to today’s items, not the whole backlog, with an “I’m blocked” button that pulls in the right person and the context.

A wiki with history

Record why you pivoted, priced or cut scope, next to the work. Any sentence can become a task.

Requests in one place

Early customers send ideas through every channel. A triage inbox holds them until someone decides what’s worth building.

Dates from real velocity

On Business, forecasts update as sprints close, so a founder can see a launch slipping before the investor update, not after.

Small team, Australian calendar

In a team of five, one person on leave is a fifth of your capacity. From Team upward, capacity planning counts approved leave and out-of-office. Plan around the Christmas to late-January summer break, when progress tends to stall for everyone at once, and Easter. If you have people or early customers in other states, remember public holidays differ by state, so Victoria’s days off aren’t everyone’s.

When the team grows past the point where everyone can see everyone’s work, Business scorecards measure delivered work and self-logged hours, adjust for leave, and show each person their own. There’s no screenshot capture, keystroke logging or activity tracking at any size.

Signing up from Melbourne: what to know

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There’s no office or local entity in Australia, and support works by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes behind Melbourne in summer and 4 hours 30 minutes behind in winter. Questions are answered the same working day, Indian time, in most cases, which lands in your afternoon or evening.

Billing. Seats are charged in Indian rupees via Razorpay, and the card issuer or bank converts the amount. Your accountant can tell you how Australian GST applies to an overseas service like this.

Data protection. Even a small startup can be covered by the Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles, depending on what it does with personal information, and your first enterprise customer will probably ask. Read the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check them against your obligations and contracts.
