Bugs, renewals and the roadmap, all in one sprint
A subscription product never stops needing attention. A customer reports a bug the week before their renewal, a long security questionnaire arrives from a prospect, and the feature planned for this quarter still needs building. Most small SaaS teams handle all three with the same engineers, and the roadmap is what gives way, usually without anyone deciding that it should.
The common failure is invisible interruption. A support lead messages an engineer directly, the engineer fixes it because the customer matters, and the sprint board never shows that half of Tuesday went to unplanned work. At the end of the sprint the feature is late and nobody can say exactly why.
ShipSprint gives that unplanned work a front door. Customer reports and internal requests land in a triage inbox, where product decides what gets scheduled into the current sprint and what waits. Per-column WIP limits stop the "in progress" column from filling up with half-finished fixes, and the cost of each interruption becomes visible on the board instead of in a retrospective.
Where each piece of a SaaS release lives
Engineering, product, support and marketing on one subscription, each with its own templates.
On Team and up, a GitHub branch moves its card and a merged pull request closes it, so support can see a fix has shipped without asking.
Product writes specs in the built-in wiki. Page history shows what changed, and any sentence can become a task in the backlog.
On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity each time a sprint closes, so a slipping release shows up while there's still time to cut scope.
Marketing plans release notes and announcements on its own board, against the forecast date rather than a guess.
On Business, the founder or CEO gets the command center and a Monday digest instead of a weekly round of status messages.
Asking the board from the editor
On Team and Business, AI assistants connect to the workspace over MCP: Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity. An engineer can ask what's assigned to them, or update a card after merging, without leaving the editor. The assistant acts with that engineer's own permissions and can't see or change anything they couldn't. On Business, each assistant action is recorded in the workspace audit log.
Before you commit a release date to a customer, look at the calendar as well as the forecast. Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office, and for a US team the weeks to check are Thanksgiving week in late November, Independence Day on 4 July and the end-of-December holidays. Releases planned into those weeks have fewer people to ship them and fewer to handle the support that follows.
ShipSprint doesn't take screenshots, log keystrokes or track activity. Scorecards on Business are leave-adjusted and visible to the person they describe.
For a Raleigh SaaS company: before you buy
Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. builds ShipSprint in Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in the US, and customers are supported by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Raleigh in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Support usually replies the same working day in India, which means overnight for you, so write questions with enough detail to be answered without a follow-up.
Billing. Billing is per seat, in Indian rupees, through Razorpay. The dollar amount on your statement depends on your bank's conversion. Your accountant can tell you whether sales tax applies to a service bought from outside the US.
Data protection. Your own customers' security reviews will ask which vendors can see their data. In the US that's governed by state laws such as California's CCPA and by sector rules such as HIPAA for health data, not by one federal law. If tickets copied into ShipSprint carry customer details, check the sub-processor list and the security overview against those obligations and contracts.
