A release isn’t done until every market has it

A SaaS product sold beyond Austria rarely ships once. The feature merges, then the interface strings need translating, help articles need updating in each language, and customer success in each market needs to know what changed. The engineering board says “done” while half the work is still outstanding, and the German-speaking customers get the release notes a week before everyone else.

ShipSprint lets you treat those follow-on tasks as part of the release. On Team and up, the engineering board follows GitHub: branches move cards and merged pull requests close them. Translation, documentation and launch tasks sit on boards using marketing and operations templates in the same workspace, so the release can stay open until the follow-on work is through.

Specs live in the built-in wiki with page history. When a spec names the strings or articles that will change, each of those sentences can become a task for the right team.

Release dates and the Austrian year

On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes. For a multi-market release, that gives product a date it can share with each country’s customer team, and an early warning when it moves.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office. Plan major releases around Christmas to New Year, Easter, and the July and August summer holidays, when both your team and your customers’ admins are often away. Customers in other countries follow their own public holidays, which affects when they can test and adopt a change.

No part of the product monitors employees: no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking. Scorecards on Business are leave-adjusted and visible to the person they describe.

What a Vienna SaaS company should check first

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is developed by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Austria or the EU, and support runs through email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Vienna in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Our working day overlaps your morning and early afternoon; replies usually come the same working day, Indian time, so plan a migration with that in mind.

Billing. Per-seat billing is in Indian rupees through Razorpay, converted to euros by your bank. How Austrian VAT applies to a service from outside the EU, including the reverse charge, is for your tax adviser.

Data protection. EU customers will ask which vendors see their data under the GDPR, and support tickets copied into ShipSprint can contain their users’ personal data. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and customer agreements before that data goes in.
