Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Vienna in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer, so morning questions usually get a reply the same working day, Indian time.

Billing. Seats are charged in Indian rupees through Razorpay, with your bank converting to euros. How Austrian VAT applies to a non-EU service, for example under the reverse charge, is one for your tax adviser.

Data protection. Even a small startup is covered by the GDPR once it handles customer or staff personal data. Read the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check them against your obligations and any pilot agreements.
