The founder with four jobs

At five people, nobody has a single role. The founder plans the sprint on Monday, interviews a candidate on Tuesday, writes the launch post on Wednesday and spends Thursday fixing the build. Each job has its own list, and the lists live in different places: a notes app, a spreadsheet, a chat thread with a cofounder.

ShipSprint puts those lists in one workspace with templates for engineering, HR, marketing and operations, so the hiring board and the launch checklist sit next to the product backlog. Each morning, the "my day" screen gathers today's items from all of them, so the founder starts with one list rather than four.

When something is stuck, "I'm blocked" pulls in the person who can help, with the context attached. In a team this small that is often a cofounder, and it saves the conversation that starts with "wait, which thing?"

What Free covers, and what it doesn't

Free is a real plan rather than a trial: core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, every project template, community support, and no time limit. A small team can run its first product on it.

It's limited on purpose, though, and it's better to know where the edges are. Free doesn't include time tracking, GitHub integration, the manager dashboard, delivery forecasts, AI assistant access or the owner command center.

Team, at ₹299 per user per month, adds GitHub (branches move cards, merged pull requests close them), time tracking and timesheets, capacity planning with out-of-office, email digests, and AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor over MCP. It covers up to 40 users and 100 projects. Business, at ₹599, adds delivery forecasts, scorecards, the command center with a Monday digest, the audit log, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, priority support and unlimited projects.

The 14-day trial is the whole Business plan with a sample project loaded. If nobody upgrades, the workspace goes back to Free and nothing is deleted.

Planning a small team's summer

On Team and up, capacity planning counts approved leave and public holidays. In Finland, that means Midsummer in June, the long July summer holiday and Christmas to New Year. With five people, two on holiday halves what can be done, so a first public release planned for late July deserves a hard look in spring.

ShipSprint doesn't track activity, take screenshots or log keystrokes on any plan. On Business, scorecards are adjusted for leave and visible to the person they describe.

Using ShipSprint from Helsinki: before you sign up

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company in Hyderabad, India, builds and runs ShipSprint. There is no office or local entity in Finland, and support is by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of Helsinki in winter and 2 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Send a question in your morning and it usually gets a reply the same working day, Indian time.

Billing. Paid plans are charged per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank or card converts the amount to euros. Ask your accountant how VAT applies when you buy a service from outside the EU.

Data protection. GDPR applies as soon as you hold data on testers, customers or candidates. The sub-processor list and the security overview explain who handles workspace data and how it is protected; check them against your obligations and any publisher or customer agreement.
