Replanning without losing the thread
Iterative teams replan constantly, and that's the point. The cost comes later, when nobody can remember why a feature was cut, which version of the design is current, or what the team agreed to try instead. Six weeks on, someone rebuilds the thing that was dropped for a good reason.
ShipSprint keeps the reasoning next to the work. The built-in wiki holds design notes and decisions with page history, so you can see what changed and when. When a sentence in those notes turns into work ("try the shorter tutorial next sprint"), it becomes a task in one step.
Ideas that come out of a playtest or a user session go to the triage inbox rather than into the current sprint. The lead decides what's worth doing now and what waits, and the sprint stays focused on the goal the team set for it.
Plans based on what the team actually ships
On Team and up, the board follows GitHub. A branch tied to a card moves it to in progress; a merged pull request closes it. The board shows what's in the code, so sprint planning starts from facts rather than a round of "is this actually done?".
On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes. When a milestone loses a week to a rewrite, the next forecast shows it, and the producer or lead sees the slip weeks before the date rather than at the milestone review.
Per-column WIP limits keep enthusiasm in check. A team that has just seen a promising prototype will want to start everything at once; a full column on the board is a gentle reminder to finish the work already under way.
When the blocker isn't always code
A programmer waiting for an asset, or a designer waiting for a build, taps "I'm blocked" on the my-day screen, and the right person is pulled in with the context.
On Team and up, Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Claude and ChatGPT connect over MCP to read and update tasks with the developer's own permissions.
Contractors get their own seat, two-factor authentication and the same board, so their work is visible without a separate tracker.
On Team and up, about five seconds per entry next to the finished task, with reminders to the individual only.
On Business, the workspace audit log, which also records every action taken by AI assistants.
Sprint capacity in a Finnish year
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In Finland, Midsummer in June, the long July summer holiday and Christmas to New Year take the biggest bites out of a team's capacity. If the milestone after the summer depends on work in July, plan that sprint at the capacity you'll really have, and let the forecast adjust.
Crunch shouldn't be the answer, and ShipSprint doesn't give anyone the means to police it: there are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking.
Before a Helsinki dev team signs up
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is built by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. We have no office or local entity in Finland; support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of Helsinki in winter and 2 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Setup questions, such as connecting a GitHub organisation, usually get a reply the same working day, Indian time, if you send them in your morning.
Billing. We charge per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank handles the conversion to euros. Your accountant can confirm how VAT applies to a service bought from outside the EU.
Data protection. GDPR covers any personal data in bug reports, crash logs or test accounts that end up in tasks, and a publisher or client contract may add terms. Read the sub-processor list and the security overview against both.
