The board says one thing, the repository another

Every development team knows the stale card. A task sits in "in progress" for a week after the pull request merged, because moving it was nobody's priority. Another is marked done while its branch is still waiting for review. Each one is small, but together they make the board a rough guess, and the sprint review starts with ten minutes of "let me just check".

For a team building software for a client, that board may be the main thing the client sees between demos, so a guess is expensive. For a product team, it's what the next sprint is planned on.

On Team and up, ShipSprint takes its status from GitHub. When a developer opens a branch linked to a card, the card moves. When the pull request merges, the card closes. The board then reflects the code, and the person who wrote it didn't have to do anything extra.

Fewer interruptions, honest limits

Per-column WIP limits keep the team from starting more than it can finish. When the review column is full, the board shows it, and the next sensible move is to review someone's pull request, not to open another branch.

Production bugs and requests from outside the team go to a triage inbox rather than to whichever developer is easiest to reach. Someone decides whether a bug interrupts the sprint or waits for the next one, and the developer in the middle of a hard problem keeps working on it.

Each developer starts on a "my day" screen with their own items, not the whole backlog. If they're stuck on a missing API key or an unanswered design question, "I'm blocked" brings in the right person with the context attached.

For the people writing the code

What a Prague dev team uses every day

GitHub sync

Branches move cards and merged pull requests close them, on Team and Business.

From the editor

On Team and up, Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Claude and ChatGPT connect over MCP. Ask what's assigned to you or update a task without switching windows; the assistant has only your permissions.

Decisions next to the code

Architecture notes and runbooks in the built-in wiki, with page history. A sentence like "we still need to migrate the old endpoint" can become a task in one step.

Forecasts from real velocity

On Business, delivery dates are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, so a lead sees a slip early.

Time logs, if you need them

On Team and up, about five seconds per entry beside the task just finished, with reminders sent to the developer only.

Sprint planning with the Czech calendar in it

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In the Czech Republic, the sprints to plan with care fall around Easter, Christmas to New Year, and the July and August summer holidays, when developers take their longer leave. A sprint planned at full capacity in mid-July is usually a sprint that slips.

Nothing in ShipSprint watches developers to fill those gaps: there are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking.

Signing up from Prague: four things to know

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in the Czech Republic; support comes by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Prague in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. If the GitHub connection needs help, ask in your morning and you'll usually have a reply the same working day, Indian time.

Billing. Per-seat prices are in Indian rupees, charged through Razorpay and converted by your bank. Your accountant can tell you how VAT applies to a service bought from outside the EU.

Data protection. Under GDPR, you need to know who processes the personal data in your issues and logs. The sub-processor list and the security overview set that out; check them against your obligations and any client contract before pasting customer data into a bug report.
