Tickets that arrive while your office is closed
If some of your clients or their head offices work Monday to Friday, their Friday is your weekend. Requests raised then wait until Sunday, and on Sunday the person who raised them may not be at work to answer a follow-up question. Without a clear intake, those tickets sit in different engineers' email, and Sunday morning starts with working out what came in.
ShipSprint gives each client contract its own project and board. Every new request, whenever it arrives, goes into a triage inbox. On Sunday morning a lead sees the full list in one place, assigns each ticket to the right client board and engineer, and the queue is in order before the first call.
Per-column WIP limits on each board show when a client's queue is already full, so the lead can see the problem before agreeing to take on more for that client.
Running several contracts from one team
On Team and up, engineers log time in about five seconds next to the ticket they closed. Hours land on the client's project automatically.
A missing day sends a reminder to the engineer, not their manager. Weekly timesheets collect per person and per contract.
On Team and up, the whole team's load across every client, with out-of-office and capacity planning.
Runbooks and access notes per client, with page history. Any line can be turned into a ticket.
On Business, a workspace audit log of who changed what, and sign-in with Google or Microsoft.
Cover through Ramadan and Eid
Ramadan often brings shorter working hours, and the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays take whole days out of the rota. Both move about eleven days earlier each year, so the weeks that need extra planning shift from one year to the next. A client abroad may not be observing them at all and will expect the usual response.
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays, and the manager dashboard shows who is on which contract. A service manager can see well before Eid which clients need a named engineer on standby and whether there is anyone left to cover. When a covering engineer is stuck, the "I'm blocked" button on the my-day screen pulls in the person who knows the client's systems, with the ticket attached.
On Business, delivery forecasts use measured velocity as each sprint closes. A migration or rollout planned across Ramadan shows its realistic finish date early, which is the moment to talk to the client about scope.
Before a Doha IT firm signs up
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is made by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. We have no office or local entity in Qatar. Support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Doha throughout the year, so our working days mostly overlap from Monday to Thursday. Replies usually come the same working day, Indian time; Sunday is usually not a working day for us.
Billing. Per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, with your bank converting the charge into riyals. Your accountant can say how any local tax applies to software bought from abroad.
Data protection. Client data you hold falls under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law, and your service contracts may add terms of their own. Compare the sub-processor list and the security overview with both before any client data goes into a ticket.
