Each new market is a project of its own
Miami has long been a centre for trade and business with Latin America, and for a SaaS company here, the next market is often south rather than west. Launching in a new country is rarely a matter of switching on a translation. There are local payment methods to support, invoices and tax fields to adjust, terms of service to review, and support hours to work out. Every one of those lands on the same engineering team that owns the core roadmap.
ShipSprint lets you treat each market launch as its own project, with its own board and owner, alongside the core product. Product can see how much of each sprint goes to the Mexico launch versus the main roadmap, and make that trade-off on purpose. Requests from the new market's customers and partners go into the triage inbox first, so they're weighed against everything else instead of arriving as direct messages to one developer.
On Team and up, the engineering boards follow GitHub. Branches move cards and merged pull requests close them, so each market's board shows what's actually in the code.
A launch date per country
A new market comes with a launch date that partners, local sales and sometimes regulators plan around. On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, so if the Brazil rollout is slipping, the local team knows weeks ahead rather than on the day.
Holidays in the target market matter for when you launch as much as for who's building. Brazil has Carnival in February or March; Holy Week is quiet across much of Latin America; in Argentina and Chile, January and February are the summer holiday months. On your own side, check Thanksgiving week in late November, Independence Day on 4 July and the end-of-December holidays. Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays for everyone on the plan, wherever they work.
The decisions behind each market, such as which payment methods, which tax fields, and which terms, go into the built-in wiki with page history. Any sentence there can become a task, so the market plan and the backlog stay the same plan.
Who works on a market launch
Engineering, marketing, HR and operations templates come on one subscription.
WIP-limited boards per market, synced with GitHub on Team and up. Developers can work them from Claude Code or Cursor over MCP.
The triage inbox for every market's requests, and market plans in the wiki that turn into tasks.
Launch checklists per country, planned against the Business forecast rather than a hoped-for date.
Local support set-up and first hires in the new market, on their own templates in the same workspace.
On Business, the owner command center across every market and team, and a Monday digest.
Your customers' privacy laws travel with them
Selling in a new country can bring its data law into play for the customer data you hold there; your counsel can confirm when. Brazil has the General Data Protection Law (LGPD); Colombia has Law 1581 of 2012 on personal data protection; Mexico has a federal law on personal data held by private parties. If support tasks will carry those customers' details, ShipSprint becomes one of the vendors you need to account for.
On every plan, each workspace is an isolated tenant, every user can use two-factor authentication, and the whole workspace can be exported as JSON. On Business, the workspace audit log records activity, including every action an AI assistant takes, and people can sign in with Google or Microsoft. There's no monitoring of your own staff: no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking.
What a Miami SaaS company should check first
Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. makes ShipSprint in Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in the US or elsewhere in the Americas. Support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Miami in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Replies usually come the same working day in India, which is mostly your night, so put setup questions in writing well before a market launch rather than during it.
Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge. Whether sales tax applies to a service bought from abroad is your accountant's call.
Data protection. At home, the US has no single federal privacy law; state laws such as California's CCPA and sector rules like HIPAA apply. Abroad, the laws above may apply as well. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against every one of them and your customer contracts.
