When a feature date ends up in a sales deal
Larger customers rarely sign without asking what's coming next. Somewhere in the negotiation, a feature and a quarter get mentioned, and sometimes they end up in the order form. From then on, a date that engineering never formally agreed to is a commitment the whole company has to keep.

On Business, every assistant action is in the workspace audit log.
For everyone else, the day starts on a "my day" screen: today's items, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button that brings in the person who can help, with context attached. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking anywhere in the product.
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office. Before committing a release to a customer, check it against Thanksgiving week in late November, Independence Day on 4 July and the end-of-December holidays, when fewer people are around to ship and support it.
What a New York SaaS company should check first
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint comes from Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. of Hyderabad, India. There's no office or local entity in the US, and support is provided by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of New York in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer, so there's little overlap between our working days. Send setup questions with the details attached, and plan a migration so that you're not waiting on a reply in the middle of it.
Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to dollars. Whether sales tax is due on a service bought from outside the US is for your accountant to say.
Data protection. The US has no single federal privacy law; instead a growing set of state laws, such as California's CCPA, applies, with sector rules like HIPAA for health data on top. If your customers' security reviews ask which vendors see their data, and support tickets you copy into ShipSprint carry customer details, check the sub-processor list and the security overview against those obligations and contracts first.
