The tool bill grows faster than the team

A young company tends to collect software one problem at a time: a board for the product, a tracker for hours, a wiki, something for hiring, something for the launch plan. Each is cheap on its own. A year later there are five logins, five invoices, and nobody can see the whole company in one place.

ShipSprint covers those jobs on one subscription, with templates and vocabulary for engineering, HR, marketing and operations. The founder who handles hiring on Monday and the launch on Thursday uses the same workspace for both, and so does everyone else.

It's priced per seat. Team is ₹299 per user per month and Business is ₹599. Up to 5 people can use the core boards for free, with no time limit, which is enough to find out whether the way it works suits you.

How the money works, from free to paid

Free is the core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, with every project template and community support. It's meant for trying the product and for very small teams. It doesn't include time tracking, GitHub, AI assistants or dashboards.

Team is where most of the working features start: time tracking and timesheets, GitHub sync, capacity planning, the manager dashboard, email digests and AI assistant access. It covers up to 40 users and 100 projects. Business adds delivery forecasts, scorecards, the owner command center, the audit log, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, priority support and unlimited projects.

The trial runs for 14 days on the full Business plan, with a sample project loaded and no card required. If nobody upgrades, the workspace continues on Free and nothing is deleted. If you pay and regret it, any paid charge is refunded in full within 7 days. Annual billing is ₹2,899 per user per year on Team and ₹6,499 on Business.

The first year

What a founding team leans on

A screen for today

"My day" shows each person their own items, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in whoever can help.

Decisions that survive turnover

The built-in wiki keeps product decisions next to the work, with page history, and any sentence can become a task.

Hiring without a spreadsheet

HR templates for candidate pipelines and onboarding checklists, on the same subscription as the product board.

Code and board in step

On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them.

Investor updates without the Sunday night

Writing the monthly update means working out what shipped, what slipped and why. On Business, the owner command center covers every team, a Monday digest arrives assembled, and delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, so a slipping milestone is visible before the update is due. On Team and Business, you can also ask Claude or ChatGPT what moved this month and get an answer from the workspace.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave. In a small team that matters around Thanksgiving week in late November, Independence Day on 4 July and the end-of-December holidays, when one person away can stall a launch. And nobody is being watched: no screenshots, no keystroke logging, no activity tracking.

Signing up from New York: four things to know first

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in the United States, and support is by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of New York in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer, so a message sent in your afternoon reaches India in the middle of its night. Plan on support being asynchronous.

Billing. You're charged per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts it to dollars; some cards add a foreign transaction fee. Ask your accountant whether sales tax applies to a service bought from abroad.

Data protection. The US has no single federal privacy law; instead a growing set of state laws, such as California's CCPA, applies, plus sector rules like HIPAA for health data. If you're building in health or handling customer data in tickets, check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and customer contracts first.
