The tracker, from inside the editor
If your engineers spend the day in Claude Code, Cursor or Antigravity, switching to a browser tab to update a ticket is the most disruptive part of their workflow. So they don't, and the board goes stale.
On Team and Business, ShipSprint connects to AI assistants over MCP: Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Claude and ChatGPT. An engineer can ask "what's assigned to me this sprint?", read a card before starting work, or update it after finishing it, all from the editor or chat they're already using.
The rule that matters: the assistant acts with the signed-in engineer's own permissions. It can't see a project the engineer can't see, or change something they couldn't change themselves. On Business, every assistant action is recorded in the workspace audit log, alongside the actions of people.
Where the assistant helps, and where GitHub does the work
Between the MCP connection and the GitHub sync, most card updates happen without anyone opening the board.
Ask the assistant what the card says, so the task is in front of you in the editor before the first line.
Open a branch for the card and it moves into progress automatically through the GitHub integration.
The merged pull request closes the card. Log time in about five seconds if your team tracks it.
The "I'm blocked" button on "my day" brings in the right person with the card's context, without a stand-up.
"What's blocked in this sprint?" gets a plain answer from the assistant, limited to what you're allowed to see.
Faster output, honest forecasts
AI-assisted coding changes a team's pace, and not always predictably: some work goes much faster, and review becomes the bottleneck. Two things in ShipSprint help keep that visible. Per-column WIP limits on the review column show when pull requests are piling up faster than people can review them. And on Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, so a forecast reflects how fast the team actually ships now, not how fast it shipped before the tools changed.
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office. For a US team, plan around Thanksgiving week in late November, Independence Day on 4 July and the end-of-December holidays.
And there's no surveillance: no screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking. Scorecards on Business are leave-adjusted and visible to the person they describe.
Using ShipSprint from San Francisco: what to know first
Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., in Hyderabad, India. There's no office or local entity in the US. Support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 13 hours 30 minutes ahead of San Francisco in winter and 12 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Support works through the Indian day, while you're asleep, and usually replies that same day. When setting up the MCP connection or GitHub sync, send the full error and configuration in your first message.
Billing. Each seat is billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to dollars. Whether sales or use tax applies to software bought from abroad is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. California's CCPA applies to many businesses that handle Californians' data; other states have their own laws, sector rules such as HIPAA apply on top, and there's no single federal law. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and contracts, including what your own AI assistant provider does with the context you send it.
