On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them, so the board's record of when work finished comes from the repository. On Business, the workspace audit log records who changed what, and delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, so a slipping milestone shows up weeks before the review rather than at it.

Capacity across the summer break

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays. For a South Australian team, the periods to plan around are the Christmas to late-January summer break and Easter, along with public holidays that differ by state. If your prime contractor or customer is in another state, their days off won't always match yours, so it helps to see both before committing a sprint.

Day to day, everyone starts on a "my day" screen: today's items, a one-tap time log and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the right person with context attached.
