When the roadmap is in the contract
Selling software to government usually means writing a lot down before the sale: tender responses, statements of requirements, implementation plans. Some of what goes into those documents is a promise about a feature that hasn't been built yet, and once the contract is signed, that promise has a date.
The risk is that the promise lives in a procurement document the engineers never read. Product tracks it in a roadmap, engineering works from the sprint board, and the account manager finds out it slipped when the agency asks.
ShipSprint gives that commitment a place next to the work. Put the requirement in a wiki page, with page history, and turn each sentence that needs building into a task on the engineering board. Requests from customers go into a triage inbox where product decides what gets scheduled. The link from "what we promised" to "what we're building" is then something you can show, not reconstruct.
Knowing early when a contracted date is at risk
Once GitHub is connected (Team and up), the engineering board follows it: a linked branch moves its card and a merged pull request closes it. On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from the team's measured velocity at the end of every sprint. A contracted feature that's drifting shows up weeks before the date, while there's still time to talk to the customer about scope or phasing.
The owner command center and Monday digest, also on Business, put engineering, support and sales on one screen for the founder, and the workspace audit log records who changed what.
Developers who'd rather not leave their editor can use Claude Code, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT or Antigravity over MCP on Team and up. Assistants act with the developer's own permissions, and on Business every assistant action is in the audit log.

Release planning around the calendar
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays. Check release dates against the Christmas to late-January summer break and Easter, and against state public holidays, which differ across Australia; the ACT has some of its own. Government customers' own change windows and freeze periods are worth adding as dates on the board too.
There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking anywhere in the product.
Buying from India: what a Canberra SaaS company should check
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is made by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., based in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Australia. Support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes behind Canberra in winter (July) and 5 hours 30 minutes behind in summer (January). Our working day overlaps your afternoon, and a reply usually comes the same Indian working day. Plan any migration with that in mind.
Billing. The subscription is per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to Australian dollars. GST on a service from overseas is one for your accountant.
Data protection. The Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles cover personal information you hold, and your government customers' contracts may impose more. Use the sub-processor list and the security overview to check ShipSprint against both before you rely on it.
