An in-house development team rarely has one customer. Finance wants a new report, sales wants a change to the CRM integration, HR needs an onboarding form, and the head of operations has an idea from a conference. Requests arrive by email, in corridors and through managers, and the team's real roadmap gets squeezed between them.
ShipSprint gives all of those requests one entrance: the triage inbox. Departments send work there, the team lead or product owner reviews it, and each request is scheduled, parked or declined with a reason. Nothing goes straight onto a developer's plate because someone senior asked loudly.
Per-column WIP limits then protect the sprint. When the board shows that the team is already at its limit, the conversation with a department head shifts from "why isn't my request done?" to "which of these should wait so yours can start?"
Showing the business what's really happening
Business stakeholders don't read pull requests. They want to know whether their item is being worked on and roughly when it will be ready. On Team and up, ShipSprint's board follows GitHub (a branch moves a card, a merged pull request closes it), so the status a manager sees is the status of the code, without developers having to keep it up to date by hand.
On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, which gives the team a defensible answer to "when?". The owner command center shows the IT or digital director every project in one view, and a Monday digest summarises it.
Developers can stay in their editor: on Team and up, Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Claude and ChatGPT connect over MCP, with the developer's own permissions. On Business, assistant actions appear in the workspace audit log.

Sprint capacity through May and August
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. For a French team, the cluster of public holidays in May, the August summer break and Christmas to New Year are when capacity drops most. In May, a two-week sprint may have several fewer working days; in August, the team and the departments it serves may both be short of people. Plan smaller sprints for those weeks and tell requesters early.
Time logging on Team and up takes about five seconds per entry, with reminders going only to the developer. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking.
Before a Paris dev team signs up

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Paris in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. If your procurement or security team has questions, send them in the morning; replies usually come the same working day, Indian time.
Billing. Seats are charged per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay and converted by your bank. Your finance team or accountant can confirm how TVA applies to a service bought from outside the EU.
Data protection. Internal requests often contain employee or customer data covered by GDPR. Have your data protection lead review the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and internal policies before rollout.
