May, August and the end of the year

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In France, three periods matter most: the cluster of public holidays in May, the August summer break and Christmas to New Year. In May, a sprint can lose several days to holidays, plus any bridge days your team takes; in August, whole teams may be away. Plan releases and campaigns with those weeks in the calendar, not discovered afterwards.

The "my day" screen gives each person today's items and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the right colleague with the context. ShipSprint has no screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking on any plan.

Using ShipSprint from Paris: what to know first

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is developed by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in France or elsewhere in the EU, and support runs by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Paris in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Questions sent during your morning reach support in the Indian afternoon and usually get a reply the same working day, Indian time.

Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to euros. How French VAT (TVA) applies to a service bought from outside the EU is a question for your accountant.

Data protection. French organisations work under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The sub-processor list names every provider that handles workspace data, and the security overview covers tenant isolation, two-factor authentication and JSON export. Check both against your own obligations, your data protection officer's requirements where you have one, and any client contract.
