Three queues, one small engineering team

A subscription product generates work from three directions. The roadmap says what the company has decided to build. Customers send bug reports, some urgent and most not. And sales and support forward feature requests, each one framed as the thing that will close or keep an account.

In a young SaaS company, the same few engineers handle all three. Without a single place where incoming work is sorted, the newest message tends to win. A customer bug interrupts a sprint, a feature request goes straight to a developer's chat, and the roadmap item due this quarter quietly moves to next quarter without a decision anyone can point to.

The fix is less about working harder and more about making the trade-off visible: what came in, what was chosen, and what that choice pushed back.

Sorting incoming work before it reaches a developer

Every bug report and feature request goes into ShipSprint's triage inbox first. The product owner, or whoever plays that role this month, reviews it and either schedules it, parks it in the backlog or closes it. Engineers pick up work from the board, not from whoever messaged them last.

The sprint board itself has per-column WIP limits. When a production bug genuinely has to jump the queue, the limit makes the cost obvious: something in progress has to wait, and the team can say which. On Team and up, the board follows GitHub. A branch moves its card, and a merged pull request closes it, so status in the tool matches the code.

Specs and decisions live in the built-in wiki, with page history. When a customer asks why a feature works the way it does, the reasoning is on a page linked to the work, and any sentence in a spec can be turned into a task.

Across the company

Who else in a SaaS company uses it

Engineering, marketing, HR and operations templates are all on one subscription.

Support and success

Customer issues go to the triage inbox with the details attached, so engineering hears about them once, in one place.

Marketing

Launch checklists and content calendars built around the release, with their own vocabulary instead of sprint terms.

Founders

On Business, the owner command center across every team, delivery forecasts and a Monday digest that arrives already assembled.

Developers in their editor

On Team and up, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity connect over MCP, acting only with that developer's own permissions.

Release dates that account for real capacity

On Business, ShipSprint forecasts delivery from the velocity the team actually achieved as each sprint closes. If bug work has been eating a third of every sprint, the forecast reflects that, and the release date moves on the screen before it moves in a customer email.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. Plan releases around Diwali and Holi, when much of the team may be away and fewer people are around to watch a deployment, and remember that regional festivals differ from state to state, so engineers from other states may be off on days your office isn't. If you work some Saturdays, set the plan to the week you actually run.

No part of this watches people. There are no screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking. Scorecards on Business use delivered work and self-logged hours, adjusted for leave, and each person sees their own.

Using ShipSprint from Chandigarh: what to check

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad makes ShipSprint and bills in rupees with GST-compliant invoices. Support is by email and in-app chat, with priority support on Business.

Time zones. We're on IST like you, and support replies usually come the same working day. Schedule a migration from another tool outside your release weeks so nothing urgent is waiting on a reply.

Billing. Seats are charged per user in rupees through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST, and with a valid GSTIN the invoice supports an input-tax credit claim.

Data protection. Bug reports often carry customer names, emails or screenshots of their data, all covered by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Your customers may also ask which vendors can see it. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and customer contracts before pasting that data into a ticket.
