The morning after the client's day

When a client is in Europe or North America, much of their day happens outside yours. You arrive to a pile of emails: a bug report, two change requests, a question about the last release and a "quick" favour. The engineer who reads them first tends to start on whichever looks easiest, and the urgent one waits until someone notices.

ShipSprint gives that morning a routine. Everything new goes into a triage inbox. A lead goes through it first thing, decides which client board each item belongs on, flags what's urgent and assigns it. Change requests are recognised as change requests before anyone starts work, so a fixed-price engagement doesn't absorb unpriced scope.

Each client has its own project and board, with per-column WIP limits. When one client's queue fills up, the board shows it before the team takes more from them, and the account manager has something concrete to discuss.

Blocked overnight, with the context attached

The expensive delay in offshore work is the question that could have been asked yesterday. An engineer hits a missing credential or an unclear requirement at four in the afternoon, the client has not started their day, and by the time anyone answers a day is gone.

On the "my day" screen, the engineer taps "I'm blocked". The right person, often the account lead who talks to the client, is pulled in with the card's context, and can send one clear question before the client's day starts. The block is on the card, so the next day's stand-up starts from a list rather than a recollection.

The built-in wiki is the place for each client's runbook: environments, access steps, escalation contacts, release rules. Pages keep their history, and any sentence can become a task, so a new engineer on the account has somewhere to start.

What keeps an offshore floor accountable

Hours per client

On Team and up, a five-second time log beside the finished task, collected into weekly timesheets under the right client.

Reminders to the engineer

Missing hours prompt the engineer, not their manager. No screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking.

The manager dashboard

On Team and up, the bench across every client, with capacity that counts leave and out-of-office.

Forecasts for the client call

On Business, delivery forecasts from measured velocity, updated as sprints close.

Records for client audits

On Business, the workspace audit log and sign-in with Google or Microsoft.

Two holiday calendars on one plan

Your side of the calendar has Diwali and Holi, plus regional festivals that vary from state to state, which matters if the team is drawn from several states. The client's side has its own: Thanksgiving week and the end-of-December break for a US client, Easter and the bank holiday weekends for a UK one.

On Team and up, approved leave and public holidays count towards capacity. Put both calendars into the plan and you won't promise a release for a week when your testers are on Diwali leave, or schedule user acceptance testing when the client's team is away. If you work some Saturdays, count those as working days.

Before a Noida IT firm signs up

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is built in Hyderabad by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., billed in rupees with GST-compliant invoices, and supported over email and in-app chat.

Time zones. Unlike your clients, we're on IST. Support usually replies the same working day, Indian time, so raise anything you need before a client's day begins.

Billing. Each seat is billed per user in rupees through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST, which the invoice lists, and a valid GSTIN lets you claim input-tax credit. Your accountant can confirm.

Data protection. You work under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and an overseas client's contract may add its own data terms. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against the Act and each client agreement before client data lands in a ticket.
