One bench, many engagements, two calendars

A services company rarely works on one thing. The same engineers might be split between a fixed-scope build for one client, a support contract for another and a time-and-materials team for a third. Each engagement has its own scope, its own way of raising requests and, when the client is abroad, its own holidays.

Generic project tools treat that as one long backlog. The client who escalates fastest gets the people, the hours are reconstructed for the timesheet at month end, and nobody notices that a client's busiest week is also the team's festival week until the deadline is already at risk.

ShipSprint gives each engagement its own project and board, with per-column WIP limits that make a full queue visible before another request is accepted. Requests from every client go into a triage inbox and are assigned deliberately, not picked up by whoever saw the email first.

Billable hours without the month-end scramble

For time-and-materials work, the timesheet is the invoice. On Team and up, an engineer logs time in about five seconds, right beside the task just closed. A missing day triggers a reminder to that engineer, not an escalation to their manager. Timesheets collect the week per person, and since every task belongs to a client's project, the hours arrive already attached to the right engagement.

That matters for fixed-scope work as well. When a build is running over, the logged hours against that client's project show it while there's still time to talk about a change request.

No part of this involves monitoring. ShipSprint has no screenshots, no keystroke logging and no activity tracking. Hours are what people log themselves.

For a delivery manager

What runs a multi-client floor

A board per engagement

Each client's tickets, change requests and sprint work on its own board, with WIP limits per column.

The manager dashboard

On Team and up, one place to see the team's work across engagements, with capacity planning that counts leave and out-of-office.

Blockers raised once

An engineer waiting on client access taps "I'm blocked" on the my-day screen, and the right person is pulled in with the context attached.

Owner command center

On Business, every engagement and team in one view, delivery forecasts from measured velocity, and a Monday digest.

Scorecards people can see

On Business, scorecards built from delivered work and logged hours, adjusted for approved leave and visible to the person they describe.

Your holidays and your client's

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays, so an engagement isn't staffed with people who are away. On the Bengaluru side, that means Diwali, Holi, and the city's big regional festivals, Ugadi in the spring and Dasara in the autumn, plus festivals that colleagues from other states celebrate. If your firm works some Saturdays, as some do here, plan around the days your team actually works.

The client's calendar is the other half. For a US client, check Thanksgiving week in late November and the end-of-December holidays; for a UK client, the bank holiday weekends. Putting both into the plan is how a team avoids promising delivery on a day when either side is out.

Before a Bengaluru IT firm signs up

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is built in Hyderabad by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and billed in rupees with GST-compliant invoices. Support runs by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. You're on the same time as IST, so support and your delivery team share a working day; anything you raise in the morning reaches us the same morning.

Billing. Each seat is billed in rupees through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST, which appears on the GST-compliant invoice. Your accountant can confirm the input tax credit position.

Data protection. You work under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and an overseas client's contract may add obligations of its own. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against the Act and against each master services agreement before client data goes into a ticket.
