The contract that no longer fits
A support or managed-services contract is usually sized for the client as they were when it was signed. If the client grows quickly, the ticket volume grows with them, often well before anyone revisits the terms. The extra work gets absorbed into the same queue, response times on what used to be an easy account start to slip, and the first clear signal is a complaint.
The problem is visibility, not effort. When every client's tickets share one queue and hours are reconstructed at month end, nobody can point to the moment an account outgrew its contract.
ShipSprint gives each client its own project and board, with per-column WIP limits. When a client's queue is consistently at its limit, the board shows it. Every new ticket and change request goes into a triage inbox first, so out-of-scope work is spotted when it arrives rather than after it's done.
What gives you the evidence
WIP limits per column make a client's growing load visible on the board, week by week.
Every request waits in the inbox until it's accepted and assigned, which is where scope questions belong.
On Team and up, engineers log time in about five seconds after each ticket, and timesheets group it by client automatically.
Client environments, escalation contacts and the terms you agreed, kept in the wiki with page history next to the client's board.
On Business, each project's delivery date is forecast from its own measured velocity as sprints close.
A renegotiation based on numbers
When an account has outgrown its terms, the conversation goes better with evidence. Logged hours against the client's project, a board that has sat at its WIP limit for weeks, and the change requests that came through triage give you that evidence without a separate reporting exercise. On Business, the owner command center shows every client side by side.
The evidence is about work, not people. ShipSprint has no screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking. Hours are what engineers log themselves, reminders for missing days go to the engineer, and on Business, scorecards are adjusted for leave and visible to the person they describe.
Plan cover around the Dutch calendar: King's Day on 27 April, the summer school holidays and Christmas to New Year are when capacity drops most. Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office, so you can see in June whether August cover for each client is realistic.
Before an Amsterdam IT firm signs up
Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India, builds and sells ShipSprint. There's no office or local entity in the Netherlands or the EU; support runs by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Amsterdam in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Send setup questions in your morning, when it's afternoon in India, and expect a reply the same working day, Indian time.
Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to euros. Whether reverse-charge VAT applies to a service from outside the EU is for your accountant to confirm.
Data protection. Client tickets often contain personal data, which puts them under the GDPR, and if you act as a processor for clients, your data processing agreements with them may restrict which sub-processors you use. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against those agreements and your own obligations.
