A tracker that stays true without anyone tending it
Most project tools are accurate on the day someone cleans them up and drift from then on. A card says "in progress" after the work has stalled, the hours get filled in from memory on Friday, and the decision that changed the plan is buried in a chat thread. By the time a delivery date is discussed, the board and the real state of the work disagree, and somebody has to rebuild the picture by hand.
ShipSprint is built so the board keeps itself honest. On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them. Time is logged in about five seconds next to the task someone just finished, so the hours are recorded while they're still fresh. Decisions go in the built-in wiki, with page history, and any sentence on a page can become a task.
It's priced per seat, with no add-ons. Up to 5 people can use the core boards free with no time limit. Team, at ₹299 per user per month, adds time tracking, GitHub sync, capacity planning and the manager dashboard. Business, at ₹599, adds delivery forecasts, scorecards and the owner command center.
Dates you can defend, from the work already done
A plan made at kickoff is a guess. Once a few sprints have closed, a team has something better: its own measured pace. On Business, ShipSprint recalculates delivery forecasts from that velocity each time a sprint ends, so a release that's drifting out of reach shows up weeks before the date, while scope can still be cut or the date moved openly.
The day-to-day screen is deliberately small. Everyone opens to "my day": today's items, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the person who can help, with the context attached. New requests from outside the team land in a triage inbox, and per-column WIP limits show when a board has taken on more than it can move.
None of this depends on watching people. There are no screenshots, no keystroke logging and no activity tracking. On Business, scorecards are built from delivered work and the hours people log themselves, adjusted for approved leave, and each person can see their own.
Engineering and the teams around it
Each function gets templates and vocabulary for its own work, on the same plan and the same login.
Sprints, WIP-limited boards and a triage inbox. On Team and up, the board follows GitHub instead of waiting for someone to update it.
Candidate pipelines and onboarding checklists, so a new starter's first weeks are a list with an owner rather than a set of reminders in someone's head.
Campaign calendars and launch checklists planned against the same dates engineering is working to.
Recurring processes and vendor queues, tracked like any other board but described in operations terms.
On Business, a command center across every team and a Monday digest that arrives assembled, so status doesn't need a meeting to exist.
Planning around a Norwegian year
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office alongside public holidays. In Norway the periods that most affect a sprint are Easter, the long summer holiday in July and Christmas to New Year. A release planned for early August that assumes a full July team will miss, and it's better to see that in May than in the first week back.
For teams split between an office and home, status lives on the board rather than in a stand-up: a card's column is its state, and a blocker is raised in one tap. On Team and Business, people can also ask the workspace from Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or Antigravity over MCP, with the same permissions they have in the app.
Before you sign up from Oslo
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is made by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There's no office or local entity in Norway or elsewhere in the EEA. Support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Oslo in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A question sent in the Oslo morning reaches us in the Indian afternoon, and replies usually come the same working day, Indian time.
Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to kroner. How Norwegian VAT applies to a digital service bought from abroad is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. Norway applies the GDPR through the EEA Agreement. The sub-processor list names every provider that handles workspace data, and the security overview covers tenant isolation, two-factor authentication and full JSON export. Check both against your own obligations and client contracts before moving personal data in.
