Project Management Software for Software Development Teams in Manila

For Manila engineering teams whose developers don't all keep the same hours, and who need the board to be right whenever someone opens it, not just after stand-up.

A board that's right at any hour

A board that's only updated at stand-up is accurate for about fifteen minutes a day. For a team that keeps the same hours, that's tolerable. For one where some developers start early, some late, and some work hours set by a client abroad, it isn't: whoever arrives after the update is reading yesterday's picture.

On Team and up, ShipSprint takes the board's state from GitHub instead. A branch for a task moves the card when it's opened, whatever the time, and the merged pull request closes it. The next person to open the board sees what the repository shows, without waiting for the person who did the work to come back online.

Per-column WIP limits keep the review queue honest. When pull requests are piling up, the column shows it, and whoever is on next can pick up reviews before starting new work.

What the next developer finds

The card's real state

Moved by the branch and closed by the merge, so "in progress" means a branch exists and "done" means the code merged.

Notes in the wiki

Handover notes and design decisions in the built-in wiki, with page history. A sentence that turns into work becomes a task in one step.

A routed blocker

"I'm blocked" pulls in the person who can unblock the task, with the context attached, ready for them when they're next online.

A short "my day"

Each developer opens to today's items only, with a one-tap time log beside each if the team tracks time.

The workspace from the terminal

On Team and up, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity connect over MCP, so a developer can ask what's assigned or update a task without switching windows. The assistant has only that developer's permissions.

Interruptions, planning and dates

Bug reports and urgent requests from the rest of the company go into a triage inbox instead of a developer's direct messages. The tech lead decides what interrupts a sprint and what waits for the next one.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In the Philippines, Holy Week and a Christmas season that runs long, into early January, are when a sprint has the fewest working days. The first sprint of January is rarely a full one, so plan it that way.

On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as sprints close. The projected date follows what the team actually ships, so a lead can raise a slip weeks early with evidence. Every assistant action is in the Business audit log.

There are no screenshots, no keystroke logging and no activity tracking. Time reminders go to the developer, not their manager, and Business scorecards are leave-adjusted and visible to the developer they describe.

Manila teams: what to know before you start

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint comes from Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in the Philippines. Support is through email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 2 hours 30 minutes behind Manila. If you hit a problem connecting GitHub during your afternoon, we're usually working too, and replies usually come the same working day, Indian time. Include the error text and repository settings in the first message.

Billing. Per-seat prices in Indian rupees, paid through Razorpay, with your bank converting to pesos. Philippine VAT on a foreign software service is a question for your accountant.

Data protection. If issues or logs contain users' personal data, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 applies to them. Review the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and any client contracts, particularly if you build for clients abroad.
