The board drifts away from the code

Every development team knows the pattern. A card says "in progress" for a feature that merged two days ago. Another says "to do" while someone has had a branch open on it all week. By the sprint review, the lead spends the first ten minutes asking people where things really are.

Working from the editor

On Team and Business, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity connect to the workspace over MCP. A developer can ask what's assigned to them, pick up the next task or add a note to a card without leaving the editor. The assistant acts with that developer's own permissions and can't do anything they couldn't do themselves.

On Business, every assistant action is recorded in the workspace audit log, which matters if your security team wants to know what an AI tool changed and on whose behalf.

For the rest of the day, the my-day screen shows today's items, a one-tap time log and an "I'm blocked" button. Waiting on a code review or an environment? One tap pulls in the person who can unblock it, with the card's context attached.

Sprint cadence and the Saudi calendar

With a Sunday to Thursday working week, it makes sense to start sprints on Sunday and hold the review on Thursday. ShipSprint lets the team set sprint dates, so the cadence follows your week rather than a Monday default.

Ramadan, when working hours are often shorter, and the Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha holidays shift about eleven days earlier every year, so the same sprint number lands in a different season each time. On Team and up, capacity planning counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays. A sprint that spans Eid is planned with the developers who will be there, rather than the full headcount.

Before a Riyadh development team commits

Who you're buying from. The vendor is Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Saudi Arabia; support is through email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Riyadh, and neither side changes its clocks. If the GitHub connection needs troubleshooting, raise it early in your day: support usually replies the same working day, Indian time, and Monday to Thursday is when both weeks overlap.

Billing. Each seat is billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay; your bank converts it. Whether Saudi VAT is due on a service from a foreign supplier, and how to account for it, is your accountant's call.

Data protection. Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) applies if cards, logs or test data hold personal information. The sub-processor list and the security overview describe who processes workspace data and how tenants are isolated; check them against the PDPL and your client contracts.
