"Can we take this brief?" needs a real answer
A new brief arrives on a Tuesday afternoon with a deadline next week. The account director wants to say yes. Whether the agency can deliver depends on who is free, and that information is in people's heads: the video editor knows she's full, the copywriter thinks he has some room, and the designer is on leave on Friday.
On Team and up, ShipSprint's manager dashboard puts that in one view. Each person's work across every client is visible, and capacity planning counts approved leave and out-of-office. Before saying yes, the account director can see who actually has room and which client's work would have to move.
New briefs and requests go into a triage inbox first, so a producer can weigh them against current work rather than having them land directly on a designer who already has a full week.
Revision rounds you can count
If your contracts allow a set number of revision rounds, the trouble is that nobody counts them while they're happening. Put each round on the client's board as its own card, with columns for draft, internal review, with client and approved, and the count is there when the account director needs it.
Per-column WIP limits keep the "with client" column honest. When too much work is waiting on feedback, the limit makes it visible, and the account lead knows whom to chase.
Time is logged in about five seconds next to the task just finished, on Team and up, so the hours behind those extra rounds are on record too. If a day is missing, the reminder goes to that person rather than their manager.
What each person sees
A my-day screen with today's items, a one-tap time log and an "I'm blocked" button for missing assets or feedback.
The triage inbox and each client's board, with limits that show when a stage is overloaded.
Hours per client and the brand guidelines, approval contacts and past decisions in the wiki, with page history.
On Business, the owner command center across every account, a Monday digest, and scorecards adjusted for leave and visible to the person they describe.
Holiday campaigns, holiday capacity
If your clients run campaigns for Seollal (Lunar New Year) or Chuseok, the production work lands in the weeks just before the holidays, and the holidays themselves, each usually three days, take that time out of your own team's calendar. Both move with the lunar calendar.
Capacity planning on Team and up counts public holidays alongside approved leave, so a festive campaign is planned against the days the team really has. Setting client approval deadlines with the break already on the board avoids the final round arriving the day before everyone leaves.
No part of ShipSprint takes screenshots, logs keystrokes or tracks activity. Scorecards, where used, reflect delivered work and logged hours.
Using ShipSprint from Seoul: the essentials
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is owned by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. We have no office or local entity in South Korea, and support is handled through email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 3 hours 30 minutes behind Seoul throughout the year. Support usually replies the same working day, Indian time, so a question sent in your morning will typically be answered by your evening. Set up before a busy campaign period, not during it.
Billing. The per-seat price is in Indian rupees, paid through Razorpay, and your bank converts it to won. Whether Korean VAT is due on a service from an overseas supplier is for your accountant to confirm.
Data protection. Customer lists, event sign-ups and influencer contacts are personal data under Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Before any of it goes into the workspace, read the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check them against PIPA and your client agreements.
