Founders who have run operations at a hotel, a retailer or a family business often know exactly how work should flow, and have never had to choose a project tool. Founders from engineering know the tools but may never have planned hiring or marketing in one. Either way, the risk at the start is the same: buying something too heavy to keep up, or something free that turns into a bill just as the company gets busy.

ShipSprint’s Free plan covers the core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, with no time limit. It isn’t a trial. When the team grows or needs time tracking and GitHub, the same workspace moves to Team or Business, so nothing needs to be rebuilt.

When paying starts to make sense

The point to move up is usually a sixth person or a third project, or a need Free doesn’t meet. Team, at ₹299 per user per month or ₹2,899 per user per year, adds time tracking and timesheets, GitHub integration, the manager dashboard, capacity planning that counts leave, email digests and AI assistant access over MCP. It covers up to 40 users and 100 projects.

Business, at ₹599 per user per month, is for when someone outside the team starts asking for dates. It adds delivery forecasts from measured velocity, the owner command center with a Monday digest, scorecards, the audit log, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, and priority support.

Before deciding, run the trial: 14 days of the full Business plan, no card. If nobody upgrades, the workspace returns to Free with nothing deleted, and any paid charge can be refunded in full within 7 days.

Whatever the plan, ShipSprint never takes screenshots, logs keystrokes or tracks activity. The hours on a timesheet are the hours people chose to log.

Planning a small team’s year

With five people, one person away is a fifth of the company. On Team and up, capacity planning counts approved leave and public holidays. In Thailand, Songkran in mid-April and the New Year holidays are when the most capacity disappears at once. If you are promising a pilot or a demo to a customer or investor, check it against both before you set the date.

Engineering, HR, marketing and operations templates come with the same subscription, so hiring the first salesperson or planning a launch doesn’t mean buying another tool.

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is developed by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Thailand. Support is by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 1 hour 30 minutes behind Bangkok, all year round. Most of your working day overlaps ours, so a question asked in the day usually has an answer the same working day.

Billing. Paid seats are charged in Indian rupees via Razorpay. Your bank or card issuer converts the amount to baht. Your accountant can say how Thai VAT treats a foreign subscription.

Data protection. When you start collecting customer or beta-user details, Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act applies. Look at the sub-processor list and the security overview and check them against your obligations, and any terms from investors or partners, before that data goes in.
