When the spreadsheet stops working

In Thailand the dates that most affect capacity are Songkran in mid-April and the New Year holidays. Songkran is a common time for people to travel, so it is worth treating the days either side as reduced capacity as well, not only the official holiday.

On Team and Business, people can also ask the workspace questions from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, such as “what’s due before the Songkran break?”. The assistant uses that person’s own permissions. There is no screen capture, keystroke logging or activity tracking in ShipSprint.

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is built by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Thailand, and support is by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 1 hour 30 minutes behind Bangkok all year. The Indian working day covers most of yours from late morning onward, so a question raised in the day usually gets a reply the same working day.

Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to baht. How Thai VAT applies to a service bought from abroad is a question for your accountant.

Data protection. Thai companies handle personal data under the Personal Data Protection Act of 2019 (PDPA). The sub-processor list names every provider that handles workspace data, and the security overview explains tenant isolation and two-factor authentication. Check both against your PDPA obligations and any client contract before personal data goes in.
