A date that is drifting tends to show up weeks early, while there's still room to move people, cut scope or talk to the customer. On Team and up, engineering boards also take their status from GitHub: branches move cards and merged pull requests close them, so the forecast is built on what was really finished.

For sign-off-heavy work, the built-in wiki keeps specifications, review notes and decisions alongside the tasks, with page history. When someone asks who approved a change and when, the page shows it, and any sentence on it can become a task.

Working days, leave and who is actually in

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and out-of-office, so a plan reflects the people who will be at work. In the UK the weeks that catch teams out are the bank holiday weekends, Easter and the run from Christmas to New Year. A milestone that lands just after one of them has less time behind it than the calendar suggests.

Each person's "my day" screen shows today's items, a one-tap time log and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the right colleague with context, which saves a meeting when people are split between site, office and home. There are no screenshots, no keystroke logging and no activity tracking.

Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Bristol in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Your morning overlaps with our afternoon, and support replies usually arrive the same working day, Indian time.
