When to start paying, and for what
Free covers the core boards for a team of up to five, across two projects, with no time limit. It's enough to organise the work but it doesn't include time tracking, GitHub, forecasts or AI assistants.
Team, at ₹299 per user per month or ₹2,899 per user per year, adds GitHub integration (branches move cards, merged pull requests close them), five-second time logging and timesheets, which help if a grant or contract asks you to report effort, plus capacity planning that counts approved leave and public holidays such as the bank holiday weekends, Easter, and Christmas to New Year.
Business, at ₹599 per user per month, adds delivery forecasts from measured velocity, the owner command center and Monday digest, scorecards and the workspace audit log. A founder reporting progress to a board or investors is the usual reason to move up. Try it first: the 14-day trial gives the full Business plan with no card, and if you don't upgrade the workspace continues on Free with nothing deleted.
Using ShipSprint from Oxford: before you commit
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is made by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. We have no office or local entity in the UK, and support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Oxford in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A question sent in your morning usually gets a reply the same working day, Indian time.
Billing. We charge per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts it. If you're VAT-registered, ask your accountant how a service bought from abroad should be treated.
Data protection. Candidate details, pilot-customer contacts and any research data about people fall under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Read the sub-processor list and security overview, and check them against your obligations, your funder's or university's terms if they apply, and customer contracts.
