No client to set the scope
Many Buenos Aires engineers have worked on contract for other companies' products. Running your own SaaS changes the job: nobody hands you a statement of work, and the scope is whatever product, engineering and the people talking to customers agree it is. That agreement is easy to lose.
A familiar pattern: a customer reports a bug through support, sales mentions a feature to a prospect, product writes a spec in a document nobody links to the backlog, and engineering works from the board. Four records, none of them complete, and the customer asking about their bug gets a different answer depending on who replies.
ShipSprint gives requests a single entry point and the spec a home next to the work. Bugs and feature requests go into a triage inbox where product decides what gets scheduled. Specs live in the built-in wiki, and any sentence in a spec can become a task on the board, so the plan and the backlog stay connected.
Knowing whether the release date is real
Once customers pay monthly, a slipped release has a cost: support answers the same question for weeks, and a customer waiting on a promised feature starts looking around. The useful moment to know a date is at risk is early, while you can still cut scope.
On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from the team's measured velocity as each sprint closes, rather than from the estimate made at planning. On Team and up, the engineering board updates itself from GitHub: a branch moves its card, a merged pull request closes it. The forecast is working from what actually shipped.
The same Business plan adds the owner command center and a Monday digest, so a founder sees engineering, support and marketing together without asking each lead for an update.
Where each team works
One subscription, with templates and vocabulary for each function.
Customer bugs and requests go to the triage inbox instead of an engineer's direct messages, and wait there for a decision.
Specs and decisions in the wiki with page history, so the reason a request was declined is still there six months later.
WIP-limited sprint boards tied to GitHub on Team and up, and AI assistants over MCP for anyone who would rather update a task from their editor.
Launch checklists and content calendars planned against the Business forecast date rather than last quarter's slide.
Releases and the Argentine holiday calendar
Capacity planning on Team and up includes approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays. For an Argentine team, the ones to check a release against are the January and February summer holidays, Carnival and Holy Week, when fewer people are around to ship a release and support the customers who receive it. If most of your customers are abroad, their calendar won't match yours, so plan launches with both in view.
AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity) connect over MCP on Team and Business and act with the user's own permissions. On Business, every assistant action is recorded in the workspace audit log.
Buying from India: four things to check
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in Argentina, and offers support through email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 8 hours 30 minutes ahead of Buenos Aires, and the gap stays the same all year. In practice your afternoon is our night, so a support question gets its reply on the next Indian working day. Don't plan a migration that depends on an answer within the hour.
Billing. The subscription is charged per seat in Indian rupees via Razorpay, and your bank converts it. How Argentine tax rules treat a foreign software subscription is one for your accountant.
Data protection. Customer records you copy into support tickets are personal data under Argentina's Law 25,326. If your customers abroad run security reviews, they may also ask which vendors see their data. The sub-processor list and security overview are the place to start; compare them with your obligations and customer contracts.

No. Code stays in GitHub and ShipSprint follows it. Customer conversations can stay in your support tool; the triage inbox is where requests that need engineering work get decided.
Every workspace is an isolated tenant, every user can turn on two-factor authentication, and the whole workspace can be exported as JSON on any plan. Sign-in with Google or Microsoft is on Business.
Yes. The trial is 14 days of the full Business plan with a sample project, and no card. If you don't upgrade, the workspace moves to Free with nothing deleted. Details on the pricing page.
