Most sprint boards are kept up to date by hand, which means they're out of date most of the time. An engineer merges a fix, moves straight on to the next ticket, and the card stays where it was. By the review, the lead is reconciling the board against the repository before the actual conversation can start.

For a team that reports to a client or a head office in another country, that gap matters more. The board is often the only view the other side has, and they can't lean over and ask.

On Team and up, ShipSprint takes card status from GitHub. Opening a branch linked to a card moves it forward; merging the pull request closes it. Nobody has to remember to drag anything, and the board you share is the state of the code.

Stuck without a stand-up

Developers open ShipSprint to a "my day" screen: today's items, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the person who can help, with the ticket's context attached. A blocker raised at ten in the morning doesn't wait for tomorrow's stand-up.

Time logs take about five seconds and sit next to the task just finished. If someone forgets, the reminder goes to them, not to their lead. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In Argentina that means planning sprints around the January and February summer holidays, Carnival and Holy Week, so a two-week sprint over Carnival isn't committed at full strength. On Business, delivery forecasts use the team's measured velocity as sprints close, which already reflects the weeks when people were away.

Signing up from Buenos Aires: what to know

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an Indian company in Hyderabad, builds ShipSprint. There is no office or local entity in Argentina. Support is by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 8 hours 30 minutes ahead of Buenos Aires; Argentina keeps the same clock all year, so the gap doesn't move. Expect a reply to a support question on the next Indian working day, and connect GitHub during the trial so any setup questions are settled before you depend on it.

Billing. Billing is per seat, in Indian rupees, through Razorpay, with the currency conversion done by your bank. Whether Argentine taxes apply to the charge, and how, is for your accountant.

Data protection. Argentina's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 25,326) covers any personal data in your tickets, logs or wiki pages. If you build for a client, their contract may set further rules. Compare the sub-processor list and the security overview with both.
