The point where everyone has a different roadmap

In the first year of a SaaS company, the roadmap is whatever the founders said in the last meeting, and everyone was in that meeting. Growth changes that. Sales has a slide, support has a list of customer promises, engineering has a sprint board, and none of them agree. The first sign is usually a customer asking about a feature that support was told was coming and engineering never scheduled.

ShipSprint's answer is a single intake and a single board. Customer requests, sales asks and internal ideas all land in a triage inbox, where product decides what is scheduled and what isn't, and that decision is visible to everyone who has to explain it. Specs live in the built-in wiki, with page history, and any sentence in a spec can become a task, so the plan and the backlog stay linked.

On Team and up, the board takes its state from GitHub. Branches move cards and merged pull requests close them, so a support agent can check whether a fix is out without asking the developer who wrote it.

Saying a release date out loud

On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from the team's measured velocity at the close of every sprint. A release that's slipping is visible weeks ahead, which gives product time to cut scope or tell customers before the date passes.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In Peru, Holy Week, the Fiestas Patrias on 28 and 29 July and Christmas to New Year are when a sprint has the fewest working days. A release just before the July holidays leaves few people around to deal with what customers report afterwards, so it's worth planning that deliberately.

Every person starts on a "my day" screen: today's items, a one-tap time log and an "I'm blocked" button that brings in the right colleague with context. No screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking happen anywhere in the product, and scorecards on Business are visible to the person they describe.

Using ShipSprint from Lima: four things to check

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company in Hyderabad, India, builds ShipSprint. It has no office or local entity in Peru. Support is by email and in-app chat, with priority support on Business.

Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Lima, all year. With almost no overlap, a question raised in your working day is answered during ours, usually the same working day, Indian time. For a migration, send setup questions a day ahead of when you'll need the answer.

Billing. Each seat is billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to soles. How IGV or other Peruvian taxes apply to a subscription bought from India is for your accountant.

Data protection. When support tickets with customer details are copied into a workspace, Peru's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 29733) applies to them, and your customers' contracts may ask which vendors see their data. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against those obligations first.
