Most late campaigns are waiting on someone

When an agency misses a launch date, the work itself is rarely the whole story. The copy was ready on time, then sat with a client's brand team for a week. The designs went through three rounds because the feedback came from different people who hadn't spoken to each other. By the time it's approved, the slot the campaign was planned for has gone.

Those delays are hard to manage because they're hard to see. A task that's "with the client" looks the same on most boards as one nobody has started.

In ShipSprint, a waiting stage can be its own column on the client's board, so everything sitting with the client is visible at a glance and separate from work your team hasn't started. Per-column WIP limits on your own stages stop the studio from starting new work just because the old work is stuck elsewhere.

Feedback rounds with a memory

Feedback that arrives by email, phone and a comment on a shared file is feedback that contradicts itself. The built-in wiki gives each client a home for the brief, the brand rules and the decisions made in each round, with page history so you can see what changed and when. Any sentence in those notes can be turned into a task on the board, so "make the logo bigger on the social cut-downs" becomes a card with an owner, not a line in an inbox.

On Team and up, work follow-ups help with the chasing. Instead of an account manager keeping a private list of who still owes feedback, the follow-up sits with the work.

When a designer is stuck because an asset hasn't arrived, the "I'm blocked" button on their my-day screen brings in the account lead with the context attached, so the chase starts that morning rather than at the next status meeting.

Templates and tools

What a Leeds agency team works with

Marketing templates and vocabulary are included, alongside templates for the agency's own operations and hiring.

Content calendars

Planned posts, articles and emails by date, per client, with the approval stage visible on each.

Launch checklists

Everything that has to happen before a campaign goes live, each item with a named owner.

A triage inbox for new briefs

Requests arrive in one place and are scoped before they reach the board, rather than being started on the strength of an email.

Hours per client

On Team and up, five-second time logs against each client's project, with timesheets that show where the rounds of changes went.

Freelancers on the same board

Pricing is per seat, so regular freelancers can work in the same workspace and log their own hours.

Launch dates and holidays

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. Before a launch date goes to the client, check it against the bank holiday weekends, Easter and the period from Christmas to New Year, when your studio, and very likely the client's approvers, will be thinner on the ground.

And because nothing in ShipSprint records screens, keystrokes or activity, the hours are simply what people log. That tends to make the numbers more accurate, not less.

Leeds agencies: what to know before buying

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. The company has no office or local entity in the UK, and support runs by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Leeds in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A question sent before mid-morning in Leeds arrives during the Indian working afternoon, and replies usually follow the same working day, Indian time.

Billing. Seats are charged in Indian rupees through Razorpay; your bank converts the charge to pounds. How VAT applies to a service from outside the UK is a matter for your accountant.

Data protection. Campaign data often includes mailing lists and customer details, which are covered by the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Before any of it goes into a task, check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and each client's contract.
