The first five people, for nothing
At the start, a startup needs a shared list of what's being built and who's doing it. That's the Free plan: core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, with every project template and no time limit. It isn't a trial that runs out. A founding team can use it for as long as it stays that size.
Free is deliberately limited to the boards. Time tracking, GitHub integration, the manager dashboard and AI assistant access start on Team. That keeps the decision simple: if the boards are enough, pay nothing; when you need the rest, the price per seat is published.
If you want to see everything before deciding, the 14-day trial opens the whole Business plan with a sample project loaded, and asks for no card. When it ends without an upgrade, the workspace carries on under Free and nothing you created is deleted.
Hiring the sixth person
The jump from five to six people is usually also the point where one board stops being enough. Someone starts hiring, someone starts on marketing, and the product team wants its repository connected.
Team, at ₹299 per user per month, covers up to 40 people and 100 projects. On it, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them; time logging takes about five seconds; capacity planning counts approved leave; and people can query the workspace from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code over MCP, with only the permissions they already have.
Business, at ₹599, makes sense when a founder needs to answer for dates. It adds delivery forecasts recalculated from measured velocity, the owner command center with a Monday digest, scorecards, the workspace audit log and sign-in with Google or Microsoft. Many teams won't need it early, and it's fine to start on Team.

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in the UK, and support runs on email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Manchester in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A message sent before lunch usually gets a reply the same working day, Indian time; a late-evening one will wait for the next Indian morning.
Billing. We bill per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your card issuer or bank converts it into pounds. Whether and how VAT applies to software bought from abroad is worth a quick question to your accountant.
