What it cost. On Team and up, time is logged in about five seconds next to the task just finished, and timesheets show hours by project. Reminders to log go to the person, not their manager. That's the raw material for internal chargebacks or for the accounting treatment of software development, if your finance team needs it.

Who did what. On Business, the workspace audit log records actions in the workspace, including actions by AI assistants connected over MCP, which act with the user's own permissions.

Using ShipSprint from Chicago: what to know first

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., based in Hyderabad, India, builds and sells ShipSprint. There's no office or local entity in the US, and support is by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 11 hours 30 minutes ahead of Chicago in winter and 10 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer, so our working days barely touch. Replies usually come the same working day in India, which is overnight in Chicago; send detailed questions at the end of your day.

Billing. Seats are charged per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to dollars. The City of Chicago has its own tax rules that can reach cloud software, on top of Illinois rules, so ask your accountant what applies to a subscription from a foreign vendor.
