Three repositories before lunch

On a development team that serves several clients, one engineer might fix a bug in a client's mobile app, review a pull request in another client's API and attend a third client's sprint demo, all on the same day. Keeping a single board accurate across all of that is close to impossible by hand, and when every client sits on one board, a slip on one disappears behind progress on the others.

ShipSprint gives each client a project with its own board. On Team and up, each board follows that client's GitHub repositories: a branch moves its card into progress and a merged pull request closes it. The board for each client reflects that client's code, and nobody needs to update it between context switches.

Per-column WIP limits on each board show where work is piling up. If one client's review column is full, it's visible before their next demo.

Forecasts per client, not one blended number

On Business, each project gets its own delivery forecast, recalculated from that project's measured velocity as sprints close. Because the boards are driven by merges, the forecast for one client isn't inflated by fast progress on another. A lead can tell a client early that a milestone is moving, with data from their own repository to back it.

The workspace audit log on Business records actions in the workspace, including those taken by AI assistants, which helps if a client asks who changed what. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking; the evidence of work is the hours logged and the pull requests merged. Scorecards on Business are adjusted for leave and visible to the person they describe.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. Tết, usually the longest break of the year, and Reunification Day and Labour Day at the end of April and the start of May are the big ones. If a client abroad keeps working through them, plan who covers that account before the break.
