It’s worth being exact, because the difference matters to a team that will be asked. Team (₹299 per user per month) covers time tracking and timesheets, the GitHub integration, the manager dashboard, capacity planning with out-of-office, email digests and assistant access over MCP. Business (₹599) adds the workspace audit log, delivery forecasts, scorecards, the owner command center with its Monday digest, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, priority support and unlimited projects.
If your contract or your client expects a log of who did what inside the tool, that points to Business. If what you mainly need is accurate hours per task and a board that follows the repository, Team covers it.
Either way, every user gets two-factor authentication, and every workspace is an isolated tenant.

Ottawa teams and an Indian vendor: the essentials
Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is developed and sold by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Canada, and support is handled by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Ottawa in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Our working days barely overlap, and support replies usually arrive the same working day in India, so a question sent at the end of your day tends to be waiting for you the next morning.
Billing. Plans are charged per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts them to Canadian dollars. Whether GST or HST is owed on a service bought from outside Canada is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. Private-sector organisations in Canada are generally covered by PIPEDA, and some provinces have their own laws. Public-sector contracts often add their own security and data terms on top. Read the sub-processor list and the security overview against your obligations and each contract before putting any personal or contract-sensitive information in. Nothing here is a claim of government certification.
Holidays and leave in the plan
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays before work is committed. For Ottawa teams the dates that most often catch a schedule are Canada Day on 1 July, Thanksgiving in October and the Christmas to New Year period, when a year-end delivery date can quietly lose a week or more.
