From requirement to merge, without a spreadsheet in between
Some development work needs to be traceable: a reviewer, a client or an auditor wants to follow a requirement through to the code that implemented it. Teams usually manage that with a matrix someone updates by hand before each milestone, which is out of date the day after it’s finished.
ShipSprint makes the link as the work happens. A requirement or decision record lives in the built-in wiki with page history, and any sentence in it can become a card. On Team and up, opening a branch for that card moves it into progress and merging the pull request closes it. Following a requirement to its code means opening the card, not rebuilding a spreadsheet.
The board stays useful for the team, too. Per-column WIP limits stop review from becoming a holding area, and a triage inbox catches bugs and requests from outside the team before they land in the middle of a sprint.
AI assistants you can account for
More developers now work through Claude Code, Cursor or another assistant, and a reasonable question for any team lead is what those assistants can touch. In ShipSprint, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity connect over MCP on Team and up, and each one acts with the permissions of the developer who connected it. It can read or update what that developer could, and nothing more.
On Business, every action an assistant takes is written to the workspace audit log alongside the actions people take directly. If a card was moved or a comment added by an assistant, the log shows it.
For the developer, that means asking “what’s waiting on my review?” or updating a card after a merge without leaving the editor. For the lead, it means the convenience comes with a record.

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is built by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India, which has no office or local entity in Canada. Support is offered by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Ottawa in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Support answers are normally sent the same Indian working day, so try the GitHub connection and assistant setup during the trial, while a wait of a few hours costs nothing.
Billing. Each user is billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to Canadian dollars. Your accountant can advise on GST or HST for a service bought from outside Canada.
Data protection. PIPEDA covers most private-sector organisations in Canada, with provincial laws in some provinces and contract terms on top for many client projects. Stack traces and bug reports can carry personal information, so compare the sub-processor list and the security overview with your obligations and client contracts before they end up in cards.
Sprint planning with the calendar in it
Capacity planning on Team and up removes approved leave and out-of-office from a sprint before it’s filled. Canada Day on 1 July, Thanksgiving in October and the Christmas to New Year period are the dates most likely to leave a sprint short, and it’s easier to plan for them in the capacity view than explain them at the review.
