Choosing a tool when every subscription counts

One workspace for a company of five

In a startup this size, the person writing the code also handles a customer call, screens a candidate and updates a grant application. Separate tools for each of those cost money and attention. When you need more, Team is ₹299 per user per month (₹2,899 a year). It adds time tracking and timesheets, which help if a grant or a client asks for hours, the GitHub integration, capacity planning, email digests, the manager dashboard and access from Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or Antigravity over MCP. Business, at ₹599 (₹6,499 a year), adds delivery forecasts, the owner command center, scorecards, the audit log and sign-in with Google or Microsoft.

Before a Quebec City startup signs up

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint comes from Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. There’s no office or local entity in Canada, and support is handled by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Quebec City in winter and 9 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Support usually gets back to you within the same working day in India, which often means an answer is waiting when you start your morning.

Billing. Paid seats are billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts them to Canadian dollars. Check with your accountant how GST, HST or QST applies to a service from outside Canada.

Data protection. A startup handling personal information falls under PIPEDA, and Quebec’s Law 25 adds its own provincial requirements. Before customer or candidate details go into the workspace, check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your own obligations and any customer contract.
