It leaves out the things a startup usually wants once customers arrive: time tracking and timesheets, GitHub integration, the manager dashboard, capacity planning, email digests and AI assistant access all start on Team, at ₹299 per user per month. Forecasts, scorecards and the owner command center are on Business at ₹599.

A sensible path is to start on Free, run the 14-day Business trial when you want to see everything with a sample project loaded, and move to Team when you hire a sixth person, need a third project, or a customer starts paying by the hour. If nobody upgrades after the trial, the workspace continues on Free with nothing deleted.

Answering "when?" with the calendar in mind

A date given to an early customer is worth more if it accounts for the year ahead. Colombia's public holidays moved to Mondays create long weekends through the year, and Holy Week and the Christmas season take longer breaks. On Team and up, capacity planning counts those holidays and approved leave, so a plan for March and April shows the shorter weeks.

On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, which gives a founder a date based on what the team has actually delivered rather than what it hoped to.

Signing up from Bogotá: what to know first

Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There's no office or local entity in Colombia; help comes by email and in-app chat, with community support on Free.

Time zones. IST is 10 hours 30 minutes ahead of Bogotá, with no change through the year. A question you send in the afternoon usually gets its reply during the Indian working day and is waiting for you the next morning.

Billing. Paid plans are per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your card issuer converts to Colombian pesos. Ask your accountant how IVA applies to a subscription from a provider abroad.

Data protection. As soon as you hold users' or customers' personal data, Law 1581 of 2012 applies. Read the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check them against your obligations and any pilot contract before personal data goes into the workspace.
