One tool instead of four subscriptions

A ten-person startup usually has the same people running product, support and half of operations. The tools they pay for have to earn their place one by one, and the common pattern in project software works against that: the board comes with the base plan, time tracking is an add-on, reporting sits a tier higher, and the wiki is a separate product with its own login.

ShipSprint puts boards, sprints, time logging and a wiki in one subscription, priced per seat. Team is ₹299 per user per month and covers time tracking, GitHub sync and the manager dashboard. Business, at ₹599, adds delivery forecasts, scorecards and the owner command center. Up to 5 people can use the core boards on the Free plan with no time limit.

Fast-moving teams also lose decisions. A choice made in a chat thread late one evening is hard to find three months later, after the person who made it has moved on. The built-in wiki keeps decisions next to the work they affect, with page history, and any sentence on a page can become a task.

When the person writing code also explains the dates

At seed and Series A, the engineer shipping a feature is often also triaging support and explaining to an investor why a date moved. Most tools show a slipping date only in hindsight, once the sprint is over.

On Business, ShipSprint forecasts delivery from the team’s measured velocity as sprints close, not from the plan made in week one. A date drifting out of reach shows up weeks early, which gives a founder time to change scope before the board meeting rather than explain it afterwards.

Everyone opens to a “my day” screen instead of the full backlog: today’s items, a one-tap time log, and one tap to say “I’m blocked”, which pulls in the person who can help with the context attached.

One subscription, every function

The whole company, not just the sprint board

Startups rarely have a separate team for anything outside the product. Each function gets its own templates and vocabulary on the same plan.

Engineering

Sprints, WIP-limited boards and a triage inbox for new requests. On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them.

Hiring

Candidate pipelines and onboarding checklists on the same kind of board engineering uses, so a new hire’s first week is a list someone owns.

Marketing and operations

Launch checklists, content calendars and recurring operational tasks, tracked the same way as a sprint but in their own words.

The founder

On Business, a command center across every team and a Monday digest that arrives assembled, so nobody rebuilds the status picture before the all-hands.

Status without the stand-up

Small teams that hire across borders rarely share a convenient meeting time. On ShipSprint a card’s column is its status, a blocker is raised in one tap, and the person who can clear it is pulled in without a meeting. On Team and Business, people can also ask the workspace directly from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, so “what’s blocked right now?” gets a plain answer.

Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave, so a sprint isn’t planned around someone who’s away. In Berlin that includes the state’s own public holidays: International Women’s Day on 8 March has been a public holiday in Berlin since 2019, on top of the national ones and Christmas to New Year.

Using ShipSprint from Berlin: what to know first

Who you’re buying from. ShipSprint is built by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Germany or elsewhere in the EU, and support runs by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Berlin in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer, so a question sent in a Berlin morning lands during the Indian working afternoon.

Billing. Plans are billed per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, so your bank converts the charge to euros. How VAT applies to a service bought from outside the EU, for example under the reverse-charge rules, is a question for your accountant.

Data protection. German companies work under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The sub-processor list names every provider that handles workspace data, and the security overview covers tenant isolation, two-factor authentication and JSON export, which is on every plan. Check both against your own obligations and any client contract before moving personal data in.

FAQ

Questions from Berlin teams

No. Quantuva Technologies is based in Hyderabad, India, and support is handled remotely by email and in-app chat. We’d rather say that plainly than imply a presence we don’t have.
