When every asset has a sign-off chain
Frankfurt is Germany's main financial centre, and an agency with banks, insurers or investment firms on its client list usually sees copy go through more hands than a consumer brand would ask for: the marketing manager, a product owner, legal, sometimes compliance. Each round adds a version and a wait. When a client later asks which version was approved and when, the answer is often in somebody's inbox.
ShipSprint doesn't replace your proofing tool or your client's approval process. It gives the work a place where the stages are visible. Each client gets a board, and the columns can mirror how that client approves: draft, internal review, client review, legal or compliance, approved, live. A per-column WIP limit on the review columns shows when too much is waiting on one client, which is usually the moment to call them rather than start more work.
The brief, the brand rules and the decision about which claim was dropped live in the built-in wiki, with page history, beside the board. Any sentence on a page can become a task, so "legal wants the disclaimer moved" turns into something with an owner.
Retainers that don't quietly overrun
A retainer client pays for a number of hours, and the review rounds eat into them without anyone deciding they should. On Team and up, people log time in about five seconds, next to the task they just finished, so the hours spent on a third round of edits are visible against that client's project the same week. Timesheets collect each person's week, and a missed day sends a reminder to that person, not their manager.
That gives an account lead a real number to bring to the client conversation: this month's retainer is used up because of revision rounds, and here is where the time went.
New requests arrive in a triage inbox rather than in one account manager's messages. Someone decides which retainer they belong to, or whether they are new scope, before the work starts.
What the marketing templates cover
Marketing has its own templates and vocabulary on the same subscription your operations or HR people use.
One per client or campaign, with review columns that match the client's approval steps.
Publication dates planned on a board, so a blog post waiting on legal is visible next to the date it was meant to go out.
Repeatable lists for a product launch or annual report season, reused for the next one.
Each person's items for today, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button for when feedback is late, which pulls in the account lead with context.
On Business, the owner command center across clients, a Monday digest and leave-adjusted scorecards each person can see.
Capacity, holidays and the works council
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. Christmas to New Year and Easter thin out both your team and your clients' approvers, and school summer holidays and regional public holidays differ by state, so a client team outside Hesse may be off on a day you're working. Plan review deadlines around the approver's calendar, not only yours.
If your agency has a works council (Betriebsrat), software that could be used to monitor performance usually needs its agreement. ShipSprint has no screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking, and scorecards are visible to the person they describe. That helps, but the works council decides.
