Work that someone else will check
Mumbai is India's main financial centre, and a lot of the work done here is reviewed by someone outside the team: a client's finance department, an internal auditor, a compliance officer, a publisher. For those teams the question after a mistake is rarely "what happened?" and usually "who changed this, and when?"
ShipSprint keeps that answer in one place. Work lives on boards, decisions live in a wiki with page history, and on Business the workspace audit log records who did what across the workspace, including actions taken by AI assistants. People can sign in with Google or Microsoft on Business, every user can turn on two-factor authentication on any plan, and each workspace is an isolated tenant.
None of this relies on watching people. ShipSprint takes no screenshots, logs no keystrokes and tracks no activity. The record is the work itself and the hours people choose to log against it.
Deadlines that don't move
Some work is fixed to a date nobody inside the team can change: a quarter-end close, a filing, a print deadline, a launch tied to a client's announcement. The usual trouble is visibility: too many items are in progress at once, and nobody notices until the last two days.
Per-column WIP limits put a number on each stage of the board. When the review column is full, the board says so, and the team finishes what's there before starting more. New requests arrive in a triage inbox, where someone decides what fits before the deadline instead of everything landing on the nearest desk.
On Team and up, capacity planning counts approved leave and out-of-office, and work follow-ups and email digests bring open items back to their owners. On Business, delivery forecasts from measured velocity warn early when a date is drifting.
How different Mumbai teams use it
Engineering, HR, marketing and operations each get their own templates and vocabulary on the same plan.
Month-end checklists, reconciliations and recurring tasks on operations boards, with the audit log on Business for who changed what.
Editorial and content calendars on marketing templates, with WIP limits so the edit queue doesn't silently overflow.
A project per client and, on Team and up, five-second time logs that roll up into weekly timesheets.
Sprints on WIP-limited boards. On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them.
On Business, the owner command center across every team, scorecards and a Monday digest.
Ganesh Chaturthi and the rest of the calendar
Ganesh Chaturthi, usually in August or September, is Mumbai's big regional festival, and it's worth planning around in the same way as Diwali and Holi. Teams drawn from other states will also have their own regional festivals, which in India vary from state to state.
On Team and up, public holidays and approved leave are part of capacity, so a filing or launch due just after the festival is planned with the people who will actually be at work. If your firm works some Saturdays, plan around the days your team really works.
Using ShipSprint from Mumbai: what to know first
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is built in Hyderabad by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and billed in rupees with GST-compliant invoices. Support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. We're on IST like you. Support usually replies the same working day, so the dates that matter most for planning are the festival weeks above.
Billing. Seats are billed per user in rupees through Razorpay. Prices exclude GST, which appears on the invoice; with a valid GSTIN you can normally claim input-tax credit. Your accountant can confirm.
Data protection. Client and staff details you put into ShipSprint are personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and regulated clients may add their own requirements by contract. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against both before that data goes in.
