The stand-up that exists to correct the board
If half of your stand-up is people saying "that one's actually done" or "I haven't started that yet", the board isn't doing its job. It happens to almost every team that relies on developers dragging cards by hand: the board drifts from the repository, and a meeting becomes the place where the real status is reconstructed. When some of your colleagues are in another country, that meeting is also at an awkward hour for somebody.
ShipSprint ties the board to the code. On Team and up, opening a branch for a task moves its card and merging the pull request closes it. What the board shows is what GitHub shows, so anyone can check progress without asking, whatever their time zone.
Per-column WIP limits keep work from piling up in review. When the column is full, the board says so, and people finish before starting.
Status you can read instead of attend
A developer taps the button on the "my day" screen and the person who can unblock them is pulled in with the task and context attached. No waiting for tomorrow's call.
Claude Code, Cursor, Antigravity, Claude and ChatGPT connect over MCP on Team and up, so a developer can check or update tasks without switching windows. Assistants have only that developer's permissions.
Bugs and requests from outside the team arrive in one inbox and are scheduled on purpose, not dropped into whoever's chat is open.
Architecture notes and design decisions with page history, next to the tickets they shaped. Any sentence can become a task.
Delivery dates recalculated from measured velocity as sprints close, so a slipping milestone shows up early.
Bank holiday Mondays and two-week sprints
Each Irish bank holiday weekend takes a working day out of the sprint it lands in, and St Patrick's Day on 17 March and the run from Christmas to New Year take more. Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays, so sprint commitments are made on the days people will actually work. If colleagues in other countries are on different holidays, both sets go into the plan.
Time logging, where you need it, takes about five seconds beside the task just finished, and a missed day reminds the developer, not their manager. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking. On Business, scorecards are built from delivered work and self-logged hours, adjusted for approved leave, and the developer can see their own.
Using ShipSprint from Dublin: four checks
Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. builds ShipSprint in Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in Ireland; support is handled by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Dublin in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A GitHub setup question sent in your morning reaches us in the Indian afternoon and usually gets a same-day reply; include the repository and any error text to avoid a second round.
Billing. Seats are billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to euros. How VAT applies to a service bought from outside the EU is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. Bug reports often carry user details, which puts them under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Read the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check both against your obligations and any client contracts.
