The last release before the summer
A subscription product keeps running while the team is on holiday. That makes the release just before Midsummer and the July break a real decision. Ship too much and you leave a thinly staffed team supporting fresh changes for weeks. Ship too little and a feature customers were promised for the spring quietly becomes an autumn feature.
The decision is usually made from the roadmap drawn up in January, which says little about how fast the team is actually moving. On Business, ShipSprint recalculates delivery forecasts from measured velocity as each sprint closes. By May you can see which items will realistically be done before the break and which will not, and tell customers and the sales team while there's time to adjust.
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays, so the forecast and the people who'll be around in late June and July are on the same page. The same applies to Christmas to New Year, the other stretch when Swedish teams are thin.
Customer feedback that reaches product intact
In a SaaS company, feedback arrives from support tickets, sales calls, churn interviews and the CEO's inbox. Most of it ends up as a direct message to a developer or a line in a spreadsheet nobody reviews. ShipSprint gives it one entry point: a triage inbox where product decides what becomes work, which board it goes on and when.
Once a request is scheduled, it lives on a board kept in step with GitHub on Team and up: branches move cards and merged pull requests close them. Because the request carried its context from triage onto the card, support knows which customers to tell when it ships.
Specs and release notes go in the built-in wiki, with page history. A line in a spec can become a task, so what was agreed and what was built stay linked.
Keeping the product supported with fewer people
A board of open bugs the cover team can work from, with WIP limits so a small team isn't buried.
When a customer issue needs an engineer, one tap pulls in the right person with the context attached.
Wiki pages written before the break, with history, so the person on cover knows what changed in the June release.
On Business, the Monday digest and the owner command center give a quick read without a status call.
On Team and up, Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity connect over MCP with the user's own permissions. On Business, their actions go in the audit log.
No monitoring, ever
ShipSprint has no screenshots, no keystroke logging and no activity tracking. Time logging on Team and up is something people do themselves, in about five seconds. On Business, scorecards are leave-adjusted and visible to the person they describe, so summer holidays don't distort anyone's record.
A Stockholm SaaS company's checklist before signing up
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is a product of Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. of Hyderabad, India. It has no office or local entity in Sweden, and support runs through email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Stockholm in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Questions raised in a Stockholm morning usually get an answer the same working day, Indian time; something raised late in your afternoon may wait until the next one.
Billing. Seats are billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts to kronor. The VAT treatment of a service bought from outside the EU is one for your accountant.
Data protection. Feedback and support tickets copied into tasks can include your customers' personal data, which the GDPR covers, and your own customers' security questionnaires may ask about your vendors. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against both.
