Delivery dates that someone outside the team depends on
Zurich is Switzerland's main financial centre, and in financial services, project work is often tied to dates the team doesn't control: a regulatory reporting deadline, a product change a client was told about, a migration that has to finish before a contract ends. When a date like that slips, the cost isn't an awkward stand-up. It's a conversation with a regulator, a client or a steering committee.
The useful thing is to know early. Most tools show a slipping date only when the deadline arrives, because the forecast is the plan made at the start. On Business, ShipSprint recalculates delivery forecasts from the team's measured velocity as each sprint closes, so a date drifting out of reach shows up weeks ahead, while there's still a choice between cutting scope, adding people or warning the people who depend on it.
The owner command center shows that picture across every team, and a Monday digest arrives assembled, so the person accountable for delivery doesn't have to collect updates from each lead before the steering meeting.
Questions your vendor review will ask
A new tool at a bank or insurer can expect a vendor review, and fintechs selling to them face the same questions from the other side. Here's what ShipSprint can answer plainly. Every workspace is an isolated tenant. Two-factor authentication is available to every user. The full workspace can be exported as JSON on every plan. On Business, people can sign in with Google or Microsoft, and the workspace audit log records changes, including every action an AI assistant takes on a user's behalf.
AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity, over MCP on Team and up) act with the permissions of the person using them, never more. There are no screenshots, keystroke logging or activity tracking anywhere in the product.
What this page won't do is claim certifications, hosting locations or regulatory approvals. The sub-processor list and the security overview are the documents to review.
Beyond the engineering team
Templates and vocabulary for engineering, HR, marketing and operations are on every plan.
Sprints on WIP-limited boards. On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them.
Recurring controls and process tasks, with new requests landing in a triage inbox to be assigned deliberately.
Hiring pipelines and onboarding checklists, where each step of a joiner's first weeks has an owner.
On Business, the owner command center, scorecards that are leave-adjusted and visible to the person they describe, and the Monday digest.
Hours against cost centres, and the cantonal calendar
Where engineering time is charged to a business line or a client, the hours have to be right. On Team and up, logging takes about five seconds next to the task just finished, and a reminder for a missing day goes to the person who owes it, not to their manager. Timesheets collect each person's week by project.
Capacity planning on Team and up counts approved leave and public holidays. In Switzerland, Christmas to New Year and Easter are the stretches to plan around, and public holidays differ by canton. The city of Zurich also usually observes local half-days, such as Sechseläuten in spring, so check the cantonal and city calendar for each office before fixing a release date.
Using ShipSprint from Zurich: what to check first
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is made by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Switzerland. Support is by email and in-app chat, with priority support on Business.
Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Zurich in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Questions sent in a Zurich morning reach us in the Indian afternoon, and replies usually come the same working day, Indian time.
Billing. Seats are billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge into Swiss francs. How Swiss VAT applies to a service bought from abroad is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. Swiss companies work under the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in force since September 2023. If you're supervised by FINMA, its outsourcing expectations may also apply to a tool like this. Check the sub-processor list and the security overview against your own obligations, internal policies and client contracts before any personal or client data goes in.
