The basics shouldn't be a premium tier

Some software keeps sensible security behind its most expensive plan. For a startup, especially one that hopes to sell to banks or insurers later, that's backwards: the habits you set up with five people are the ones you'll still have at fifty.

In ShipSprint, some things are the same on every plan, Free included. Every workspace is an isolated tenant. Two-factor authentication is available to every user. The full workspace can be exported as JSON whenever you want it, so you're never locked in. The Free plan itself covers the core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, with all project templates, community support and no time limit.

What you pay for later is scope, not safety. Team, at ₹299 per user per month, adds time tracking and timesheets, GitHub sync, the manager dashboard, capacity planning, email digests and AI assistant access, for up to 40 users. Business, at ₹599, adds delivery forecasts, scorecards, the owner command center, the workspace audit log, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, priority support and unlimited projects.

Try it with your own teamEvery plan starts with 14 days of the full Business plan, a sample project loaded and no card needed.

Good reasons to take each step

Team: the sixth hire

Free stops at 5 users and 2 projects. Team also brings GitHub branches that move cards and merged pull requests that close them.

Team: assistants in the editor

Claude Code, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT and Antigravity over MCP, acting only with each user's own permissions.

Business: the first enterprise buyer

When a customer's due diligence asks for an audit trail or sign-in with Google or Microsoft, both are on Business.

Business: dates for investors

Delivery forecasts from measured velocity and a Monday digest, for board and investor updates built on real numbers.

Working as a small team

In a team of five, everyone does several jobs. ShipSprint has templates and vocabulary for engineering, HR, marketing and operations on the same subscription, so the sprint board, the hiring pipeline and the launch checklist live in one place. Each person starts on a "my day" screen with today's items and an "I'm blocked" button, which pulls in the person who can help with the context attached.

Decisions go in the built-in wiki, with page history, so the reasoning behind an early product choice survives the founder who made it getting busy with fundraising. New requests, from customers or from each other, go into a triage inbox rather than a chat thread, and per-column WIP limits stop a small team from starting more than it can finish.

There's no monitoring in the product: no screenshots, no keystroke logging, no activity tracking.

Holidays when there are only a few of you

One person away removes a large share of a small team's capacity. On Team and up, capacity planning counts approved leave and public holidays. In Switzerland, Christmas to New Year and Easter are the stretches to watch, and public holidays differ by canton, so a co-founder living in another canton may have different days off. Check the calendar for each person before committing a launch date.

Using ShipSprint from Zurich: before you sign up

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, India. ShipSprint has no office or local entity in Switzerland, and support comes through email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Zurich in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A question sent in the Zurich morning usually gets a reply the same working day, Indian time.

Billing. Paid plans are billed per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to Swiss francs. How Swiss VAT applies to a service bought from abroad is for your accountant to confirm.

Data protection. The revised FADP applies as soon as you hold personal data about users or candidates, and selling into the EU may bring in the GDPR. Read the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check them against your obligations and any customer agreements.
