Status that survives people being in different places
Plenty of companies now have a team that is never all in one room. Some people come in three days a week, some work from home, a few are in another country altogether. The weekly status meeting gets harder to schedule, and the information it used to carry ends up in chat threads that nobody can find a month later.
ShipSprint is built so that status doesn't depend on a meeting. A card's column is its status. Per-column WIP limits show when a stage is full, so a team doesn't keep starting work it can't finish. New requests go into a triage inbox and are assigned on purpose, which matters when the person who would normally catch them in the corridor isn't in the office that day.
Decisions go into the built-in wiki, next to the work they affect, with page history. Any sentence on a page can become a task, so the outcome of a call doesn't stay in someone's notes.
Planning around August, June and the end of the year
In Portugal, three periods take the biggest bite out of a team's capacity: the August summer break, the June saints' festivals, and Christmas to New Year. In Lisbon, the Santo António holiday in June is a local one, so colleagues elsewhere in the country may be working that day.
On Team and Business, capacity planning counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays. A sprint that runs through August is planned for the people who will actually be there, and the manager dashboard shows who is carrying what across the team.
On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes. If half the team is away in August, the forecast date moves to reflect it, and the change is visible in July rather than in September.
Every function, its own vocabulary
Templates for engineering, HR, marketing and operations are included on every plan. The features above the boards depend on which plan you choose.

A working day that starts small
Everyone opens to a "my day" screen: today's items, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the person who can help, with the context attached. That's useful for someone working alone at home who would otherwise wait for a reply in chat.
On Team and up, time is logged in about five seconds next to the task just finished, and a missed day prompts the person, not their manager. On Team and Business, the workspace also answers questions from Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or Antigravity over MCP, with only the permissions of the person asking. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking on any plan.
Using ShipSprint from Lisbon: what to know first
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is built by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There is no office or local entity in Portugal or elsewhere in the EU, and support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 5 hours 30 minutes ahead of Lisbon in winter and 4 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. Our working days overlap mainly in your morning, so raise questions early in your day; replies usually come the same working day, Indian time.
Billing. Seats are billed per user in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to euros. How Portuguese VAT applies to a service bought from outside the EU is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. Portuguese companies are covered by the EU's GDPR. The sub-processor list names each provider that handles workspace data, and the security overview covers tenant isolation, two-factor authentication and full JSON export. Check both against your own obligations and client contracts before adding personal data.

No. Nothing records screens, keystrokes or activity. On Business, scorecards use delivered work and self-logged hours, adjust for approved leave, and are visible to the person they describe.
