One subscription for the whole team
A small or mid-sized company tends to collect tools: one for the sprint board, one for timesheets, one for documentation, another for HR's onboarding lists. Each has its own login, its own invoice and its own idea of what a task is, and none of them agrees on who's away next week.
ShipSprint puts boards, sprints, time logging and a wiki into one per-seat subscription. Engineering, HR, marketing and operations each get their own templates and vocabulary on the same plan.
The Free plan covers core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, with no time limit. Team, at ₹299 per user per month, adds time tracking, timesheets, GitHub integration, the manager dashboard and capacity planning. Business, at ₹599, adds delivery forecasts, scorecards, the owner command center and the workspace audit log.
A year with August in it
The periods that most affect sprint capacity in Spain are August, Holy Week, and Christmas through to Epiphany on 6 January, plus regional holidays that differ from one region to the next. Catalonia has its own regional days on top of the national ones, and a team with people in other parts of Spain will have more than one regional calendar to plan around.
A plan that ignores this can promise a release for the first week of September when much of the team is booked to be away in August. On Team and up, capacity planning counts approved leave, out-of-office and public holidays, so sprints over the summer and the Christmas period are sized for the people who will actually be there.
On Business, delivery forecasts are recalculated from measured velocity as each sprint closes, so the quieter weeks feed into the release date automatically rather than as a surprise in September.
What each team uses
The same boards, with templates for each kind of work.
Sprints, per-column WIP limits and a triage inbox. On Team and up, GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them.
Candidate pipelines and onboarding checklists, with leave feeding into capacity planning on Team and up.
Campaign calendars and launch checklists tracked like a sprint, planned around the same holidays.
On Business, the owner command center across every team and a Monday digest that arrives already assembled.
Status without chasing people
Everyone opens to a "my day" screen: today's items, a one-tap time log, and an "I'm blocked" button that pulls in the person who can help, with context attached. A card's column is its status, so nobody has to ask in a channel where something stands.
Decisions sit in the built-in wiki with page history, and any sentence on a page can become a task. On Team and Business, people can ask the workspace questions from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor over MCP, with the assistant limited to their own permissions. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking anywhere in the product.
Using ShipSprint from Barcelona: what to know first
Who you're buying from. ShipSprint is built by Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad, India. There's no office or local entity in Spain or elsewhere in the EU, and support is by email and in-app chat.
Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Barcelona in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A question sent in your morning reaches support in the Indian afternoon, and replies usually come the same working day, Indian time; anything sent late in your afternoon will normally be answered the next morning.
Billing. Plans are billed per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to euros. How Spanish VAT applies to a service bought from outside the EU, for example under the reverse-charge rules, is a question for your accountant.
Data protection. Spanish companies work under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The sub-processor list names every provider that handles workspace data, and the security overview covers tenant isolation, two-factor authentication and JSON export. Check both against your own obligations and client contracts before moving personal data in.
