What you get before paying anything

A founding team needs a backlog, a sprint, and somewhere to write down why things were decided. ShipSprint's Free plan covers the core boards for up to 5 users and 2 projects, with every project template and community support, and no time limit. It's a permanent plan rather than a trial.

What Free doesn't include matters too, so here it is plainly: time tracking, GitHub integration, the manager dashboard, AI assistant access, forecasts and the command center all sit on paid plans.

To try everything first, the 14-day trial gives you the full Business plan with a sample project and no card. If nobody upgrades, the workspace continues on Free and nothing is deleted.

Paying per seat as you hire

Team costs ₹299 per user per month, or ₹2,899 per user per year, for up to 40 users and 100 projects. It's the plan for a startup with a few engineers: GitHub branches move cards and merged pull requests close them, time is logged in about five seconds next to the finished task, and capacity planning counts leave. It also includes timesheets, the manager dashboard, email digests and access for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor and Antigravity over MCP.

Business costs ₹599 per user per month, or ₹6,499 per user per year. It's for when investors or customers start asking for dates and the founders need a view across several teams. Delivery forecasts come from measured velocity as sprints close, and the owner command center, Monday digest, scorecards, workspace audit log, sign-in with Google or Microsoft, priority support and unlimited projects come with it.

Any paid charge is refunded in full within 7 days, and a full JSON export is available on every plan, so leaving is straightforward.

Planning a small team's year

With eight people, one holiday changes the sprint. In Spain the periods that most affect capacity are August, Holy Week, and Christmas to Epiphany on 6 January, and regional holidays differ by region, so Catalonia's calendar isn't the same as a colleague's in another part of Spain. If a launch, a demo or a funding round lands near any of these, plan it in early.

On Team and up, capacity planning counts public holidays, approved leave and out-of-office. Everyone starts from a my-day screen with today's items, a one-tap time log and an "I'm blocked" button. There are no screenshots, keystroke logs or activity tracking on any plan.

Signing up from Barcelona: what to know first

Who you're buying from. Quantuva Technologies Pvt. Ltd., based in Hyderabad, India, builds and sells ShipSprint. There's no office or local entity in Spain or the EU, and support comes by email and in-app chat.

Time zones. IST is 4 hours 30 minutes ahead of Barcelona in winter and 3 hours 30 minutes ahead in summer. A question sent in your morning usually gets a reply the same working day, Indian time; one sent in the evening will wait for the next Indian morning.

Billing. Paid plans are billed per seat in Indian rupees through Razorpay, and your bank converts the charge to euros. How Spanish VAT applies to a subscription from outside the EU, for example under reverse-charge rules, is worth asking your accountant.

Data protection. Once you hold user or customer data, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. Review the sub-processor list and the security overview, and check them against your obligations and any customer contracts.
